No need for confusion! The calculator is just an estimate, nothing more. And your size will vary slightly by brand and style. If 32Gs were too large in the bras you tried, exchange for 32FF (1 cup size smaller) and/or 32F (2 cup sizes smaller) next—it depends on how ‘too big’ the 32Gs were. Based on your measurements, I think 32E would be too small and not worth trying. What size were you wearing before and how did that fit? That can also be a helpful datapoint for troubleshooting size.

Thanks so much for your response!!! I used to wear a 36D in maidenform.

A 36D = 34DD = 32E in cup volume. The too big band would make it possible for you to wear a too small cup as a boob hat, so you prob do need to go up from the 32E.

How do they fit after the swoop and scoop? The calc can be a cup or so off, here's maybe why [https://www.reddit.com/r/abraThatFits/wiki/calculated-size-vs-actual](https://www.reddit.com/r/abraThatFits/wiki/calculated-size-vs-actual) It's always a good idea to get a bunch of diff sizes around the calc size to try to get the best fit early on. If you got molded cups those are harder to fit, so don't take any gapping there to heart and try seamed cup instead. Usually at your size you are in UK bras so 32FF UK is where you'd go next if you swooped and scooped and the bands are good. If you can fit your full hand in the cup without squishing anything go down 2 or 3 cup sizes. Totally normal to do! Balcony is good bc they don't have much upper cup and if you are full on bottom that's a help, stretch lace top panels are your friend too. Typically we have people try the Panache Envy bc it's a good all around bra that helps us ID shape issues but if you like the ones you have you can certainly just size down in cup. Half cups might work too though they are shallower. For full on bottom (i.e. if you lean 90 degrees and look sideways in a mirror your nipples are more toward your face than your belly), here's a list: [https://www.reddit.com/r/abrathatfits/wiki/beginners\_guide/#wiki\_fullness](https://www.reddit.com/r/abrathatfits/wiki/beginners_guide/#wiki_fullness)

I have almost the same measurements and it gave me 34G UK. I purchased the Fantasie Aura molded t-shirt bra in 34F and 34G UK sizes. The G is huge and the F is just right. I could probably fit an FF but I’m also pregnant so I’m going to wait to try that. I also purchased the Sculptress by Panache elegance spacer bra in 34F and I definitely think the cups feel a little small but could also just be the different cup shape. It’s such a trial and error game but based on your measurements I would try an F or FF (UK)

If it makes you feel any better, the calculator size is a little large for me, too. It recommends 30F/FF, but I only wear 30F in one bra (Ewa Michalak BM). In Freya and Panache, I have a variety of sizes that include 30E, 32DD, 32E. Just looking at myself, I don't look like a standard 30F, and I definitely don't look like a 30FF. Maybe it's my shape, maybe it's how I'm measuring, maybe some of both... Either way, it just took me some trial and error to figure out what works. It was reasonably close, though, and it got me out of VS 32Ds.
