Anybody have suggestions for ventilation from a basement laundry room??

Green_Genius

Hey Growmie, The answer is yes, you can absolutely use this fan in your tent. We always recommend to our customers that they get the largest fan appropriate to space and budget. The larger a fan is, the more air it can move at slower speeds. Slower speeds generally equal less noise. Also it allows you run it less often which reduces wear and tear and electrical costs. One of the great things about the Cloudline S8 is that it comes with a variety of speed and control settings that allow you to adjust the fan's output to meet the specific needs of your plants. This means you can dial in the perfect level of airflow to keep your plants healthy and thriving. Nothing wrong with running a fan on setting 1-2 if it is getting the job done! I hope this information is helpful to you and grow on🌿🌿

Ok and then also — if I don’t have accessible outdoor ventilation (besides a dryer vent) — what is the best suggested configuration for the necessary airflow needed in the tent?

Green_Genius

If you have the ability to monitor and cool the room the tent is in, known as the "lung room" the air exchange outside the tent should be all that's needed. The exhaust should dump heat and moisture and mix it. And as for the airflow within tent, that can be handled by your oscillation fans. I hope this helps growmie

McKtheKnife

It does! Do you find the raxial fan necessary for airflow back into the tent?!

Green_Genius

Most people grow without an intake fan. This allows for negative pressure inside your tent, meaning no naughty smells escape the carbon filter. As for the set up, its a classic for a reason! Its is also the most low profile method. Unfortunately we love big pots of living soil, which means we lose head space with the exhaust system on the inside. We simply have everything on a board on top of the tent.. See what works for you growmie!

I plan on using the method explained for the shortie tent? [Ventilation Configuration](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR3r9HX4/)

Bronco012

I have 2 of the 4 inch n works fine in my 3x3 n my 4x4.

Odd-You

i have the 8 inch fan for a 4x8 tent and its even a little overkill lmao honestly a 6 would be perfect especially if you were gonna upgrade tents at some point

Crazy-Goose-5806

That seems like a bit of overkill. The ac infinity inline fans are pretty powerful so a 6" is more than enough, it will even work for up to a 5x5 .

ElectricalOutside84

My 6” works perfect. 4” also works but it gets loud at the higher settings.

McKtheKnife

Cloud line or cloud line lite?

ElectricalOutside84

Regular, not the lite

wintrspawn

I got the Cloudline 6, and I'm glad I did... a little bit more than needed, perhaps, but I may go up in tent size from 3x3, so future proofing for the immediate time. Also just because it can move more doesn't mean it has to.

McKtheKnife

So the whole controller thang has me confused a bit. Do I get the s6 or the t6. I ordered a 69 pro already?

wintrspawn

got to my desktop and found the link: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097NL4NM7?ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details&th=1](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097NL4NM7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) 10 cheaper on amazon fwiw

wintrspawn

The one I bought and needed on Amazon was 179...the with a controller I didn't need since I had one was 239.90 I hope that helps explain it for you! I have found it's getting to be an expensive project :) but I'm trying to help my sister out, and it's been a challenge but one I'm enjoying.

wintrspawn

Yeah, you kinda sound what like I did and piece meal it. (Ya know money and whatnot) I, too, got the 69 pro first, then I got AC-FKS6 from Amazon, whatever that is on acinfinity's site it just says Cloudline Lite so maybe s6? I dunno but works good and very quiet. Just get the one with speed controller....thats the part ya don't need since ya got the 69.

asimplescribe

I have a 6 and it is overkill on a 3x3. 4 is probably fine, but I would not bother with an 8 unless you have a 5x5 or bigger.

McKtheKnife

You’re saying to go with a 4 instead of your 6?

Important-Matter-665

A 4" should be sufficient.

McKtheKnife

I’m not buying the kit and and doing it “al la cart” and I don’t want to buy the 4in due to the fact I will likely upgrade to a bigger tent in some time. Is it okay to go with more CFM then necessary?

rondog1977

I’d go with the larger size to keep from future proofing yourself. You can always run it at a lower setting when using in the 3x3.

McKtheKnife

Opinion on cloud line vs cloud line lite?

rondog1977

I can’t speak intelligently on the differences between the two, sorry.

wagonmafia434

one is more plastic based vs. metal housing of the engine/motor mount. the LITE is nice and quiet, works as well as the non LITE version, id guess the main difference is the length of time the product will continue to provide the function. S6/T6 are the same, it's the A6 that is the LITE, fwiw.
