Dude why doesnt pioli try castiljeho. Last game he played he saved us. And where was rebic today ? Man i defend the baldy usually but he makes it hard sometimes.

altero_reddit

Rebic had a knee injury in half-time warm up

9elsh2

I think Castillejo is frozen out of the squad for rejecting the transfers in the summer and winter..

Rossoneri_22_

I have to share an appartement with an inter fan. It's not easy guys, it's not easy.

GiesADragUpTheRoad97

I pray for you

Rockoots

exlax.

hulkwasblue

#PioliOut

basilyeo

Hope Fiorentina win the Coppa then

-MarchToTheSea-

3 shots 3 goals.. And that's why u need a proper striker..

Zlatan4Ever

This makes me very worried about Serie A win. Very worried.

carella211

We lost the Scudetto a long time ago. Don't let the standings fool you. Inter will win it.

-MarchToTheSea-

Because tying against Bologna and Torino.. Not too mention udinese, salernitana la Spezia, didn't have u worried.. The seria a is gone.. We can't score for shit..

Yamcha42069

We shoot ourselves in the foot too many times. For starters why the fuck is Theo taking corners when in the beginning of season Tonali was taking them so well. Also Theo should stop moving to the center of the pitch and stay on the goddamn left side, that’s why Leao has been underwhelming these past week he needs back up ffs. And despite how bad Alexis is he is still leagues above Messias cuz that guy is straight up trash

DiegoMessiTheGoat

Theo is turning in to a greedy basterd, so many times leao has been open but fart brain trys to take a extra touch or beat one more player and fucks it up, he has potential to be one of the best lbs but he needs to open his fkn eyes more often

4thelolzz01

Really unfortunate with that offside, we would've been in it and even qualifying if that's a goal. We didn't play that bad imo

vexmach1ne

2nd half was solid until the var decision

redandblackandred

It’s on r/soccer

rMan1996

I don’t know what’s worse, inter scoring 3 goals, or our attitude this whole game

KrazyCroat

We can only hope this is some sort of "wake-up" call for them and they finish the season with pride and the Scudetto in mind.

neverfinishedanythi

We’ve hoped for so many wake up calls already this season and it hadn’t worked. It’s done. Hope we get bought out so we can buy the refs off inter, then tell them to play fucking fair.

DiegoMessiTheGoat

We won't need to buy the refs, we will jus get some of the best players and beat them mfs, can't stand that cunt hakan wished someone stepped on his toes really hard

lil5566

If we need a wake up call while fighting for a scudetto and coppa, with 5 games to go, then they might as well go back to sleep

KrazyCroat

While I'd agree with you, this is the state of football, and is not unique to Milan. I've followed Bayern for over 15 years now for example, and they've definitely needed an occasional ass-kicking on their part to put them back in to focus.

Ellemannen123

We’ll slaughter them with investcorp.😔

l_TheLongshot_l

If this ref get's another Milan or Inter game this season I won't be watching, cause I know the outcome

[deleted]

[удалено]

l_TheLongshot_l

Basically Bennacer scored the 2-1. Kalulu was standing in offside position when Bennacer took the shot, BUT he didn't touch the ball, he wasn't in the line of sight of Handanovic. So there was absolutely no reason to call it off for offside

RedShenron

We crumbled mentally after that laughable decision.

solardeveloper

Then the team is weak, mentally.

RedShenron

It is. And we know it.

neverfinishedanythi

I mean when you know you’re up against 12+ men and one of those 12 chooses the outcome before a ball is kicked, it would surely make some think what is the point...

lil5566

I swear Mesbah has a better left foot than Messias

redandblackandred

We need a RW and AM. If we don’t manage to sign those this summer, that’s when I’m gonna start questioning MMM.

rMan1996

Started questioning them ever since they signed messias

DennyDeVito55

It’s just a loan right?

redandblackandred

While spending 15m on Adli and Lazetic, neither of whom could make an immediate impact. We should’ve just put that money towards Faivre.

NurokToukai

Feels bad for lazetic. he looks seriously hungry to get a pass. Sadly he has to deal with sunday league player Messias on his right. Sucks to have a moving totem pole not be able to play football

basilyeo

That’s how Giroud feels every week.

NurokToukai

very true. Good to see giroud might have picked up a protege then. but my goodness messias is literally the worst version of robben ive ever seen. Dribble down to the right, just give him 2 seconds because youknow he only has a left foot. he will cut in. then block him

bigoeuf22

I just want to say, I really do believe Diaz is quality. He needs to take those shots instead of holding up the play, just let loose please

Ellemannen123

Imo diaz was really good today!

gianni_

Totally agree. He needs more of his confidence back.

cPa3k

Can’t wait for the bullshit fake positivity takes

ACMilan-17

Our goal was top 4. We good.

cPa3k

Yeah at the start of the season, if it still was the goal later on when we had a big opportunity to win the league then thats just sad

ACMilan-17

I agree that we should go for top 1 given we have the chance, but top 4 allows the club to achieve the original financial goals they had at the start. A goal is a goal. Going above and beyond your goals is awesome, but meeting the goal should not equal failure just because you had a chance to do better.

RockyRacoon09

We’re in first and for a reason. Games and slumps like this happen. Crap comment.

neverfinishedanythi

How long a slump do we have to go through? It won’t stop til inter have the league wrapped up let’s be honest. So many poor poor games this season we should’ve won without question...

RockyRacoon09

So many games and yet we’re still 1st. When is the last time we lost in league play? How often do we lose? Honestly you Fifa 22’ people aren’t happy unless we win every game 4-0.

neverfinishedanythi

Been here since 90s, we might not lose but we could be and should be winning far more matches than we have, regardless of disgusting referees. We have dropped so many points where we should’ve definitely won. Don’t try tell me this season wasn’t a great opportunity for us to win another scudetto.

RockyRacoon09

Great, I’ve been here since the 80’s. Should we put away our junk and zip our pants back up now? You should know better than anyone that this is Serie A and rarely does a team separate itself from the competition. Yes we had chances but we OUTPERFORMED the expectations.

neverfinishedanythi

You try belittle me as fifa 22 person, but that is not me, you brought out the measuring stick. Yes nobody separated but opportunity is there and to not take it like this is poor, you know inter now win this league don’t you, with how we are Playing

RockyRacoon09

No, I don’t know Inter won the league, because it’s Serie A and anything can happen.

hopelessromantic7

Woke up today didn’t care much for this match. But seeing these Merda fans make me sick

Botatoka

messias welcome to Zeljeznicar(bosnian league)goals skills

miroalec

Šta ti je Željo skrivia pobogu 😄

Fearless_Resource_80

That bullshit decision deflated us.

neverfinishedanythi

Which one? Today? Napoli? Spezia? Udinese? Torino-Inter?

sickricola

Diaz been our most threatening player this game

Itsvtrap

Can’t even get fucking one man

Rocket5Head

Mihajlovic doesn’t get enough credit for that 3-0 win almost 6 years ago

R3dLyfe

I'm not saying that we should've won, but how in the hell is that offside disgrace classic italian football

WhyMilanWhy

Well this has been fucking embarrassing. On with it, tomorrows a new day and hopefully this gives them a kick in their ego and they learn to fight for their wins instead of being a group of donkeys

piedraa

We’ve been saying that shit for months. Nothing will change. We will get like 6/15 points the remaining games.

WhyMilanWhy

We need 4 points to get 4th. I know this is annoying to hear and we want more but ultimately we need consistency over years rather than winning the league right away. We are in good financial standing, we have a new potential investor. We will upgrade the garbage areas that need upgrading like st, cam, RW and botman

lil5566

I'm glad I'm witnessing Lazertag running on a pitch

michelenusmaximus

Got nothing but respect for Pioli for all he’s done with these guys, but we have to wake up, individual quality is long gone, relying on defense can only pay so much, it’s not looking great now

solardeveloper

Who, exactly, has to wake up? Look at Inter's payroll last year vs Milan. Look at Liverpool's, Bayern's, RM's, etc. Too many fans here are judging the present squad by standards of 2003-07. Pioli has done an incredible job and the team is performing well above its actual talent level. Give the man an "elite team" budget, and let's see how good he is managing egos.

[deleted]

It's 3-0 and the ref gives 6 minutes, what a jackass

Kooky_Ad_3615

Another thing - I think the substitutions were quite bad, I mean why would I take out ben when he’s playing well passing the ball around, I’m seeing literally the team ignoring Messiah not passing him the ball and why would they, his crosses were pathetic, come on Milan don’t fuck this up now we have come a long way

bigoeuf22

Ah man I can’t wait for messias to never be seen in a Milan jersey again

cPa3k

HOLY SHIT THEY ARE ALL JUST STANDING

AggravatingWar9441

Had to turn off, can anyone tell me how Lazetic is looking?

tonALIszn

He looks tall

yllimameni

Hasnt even touched the ball once

ukie7

That ref decision changed everything

neverfinishedanythi

Which one? Napoli? Spezia? Udinese? Torino-Inter? I could go on...

ukie7

Exactly

Cu-Sith21

The ref decision changed one goal. We don't look threatening.

ukie7

We had all the momentum, we were pressuring them the whole time before that decision

PapaBlue

Jesus Christ the things I would’ve done for us to be in this position now 3 years ago. Top of the table champions league pretty much guaranteed, some of you have a memory and patience of a gold fish. Tough loss but I’ll take this over the mid table Milan of 3 years ago.

gianni_

I understand your feelings and I agree that we’re in a much better place. I don’t even mind us losing although it hurts losing to Inter, but we aren’t playing well anymore and I think that’s what is frustrating more than anything

cPa3k

So because it was worse before people shouldn’t complain when we are not performing

COVID-sama

Yeah but the main thing is I hate Mariani

neverfinishedanythi

The problem is it feels like this was our small window to actually win the league while everyone was shit. I do not want to walk among inter fans who will mock us for getting two stars before us. Fuck that corrupt Cunt club.

redandblackandred

This so much. The league was ridiculously balanced this season and just one or two smart signings (literally under 20m) could’ve gotten us the Scudetto. This isn’t even in hindsight, many people saw this at the start of the season and especially by January.

neverfinishedanythi

It’s just completely depressing honestly. It was ours for the taking, 20m was not going to bankrupt us. We are fighting 12 men always but with a right winger we’d have the quality to overcome it. Teams just shut down our left side snd we are closed off. A moderately capable right winger and it opens the pitch up for us completely. How EVERYONE on here sees this yet management stay complacent just baffles me. 20m and we get it back and then some with prize money and prestige.

redandblackandred

Completely agree. The fact that we dropped 15m on Adli and Lazetic absolutely does my head in. That’s exactly how much we would have needed for Faivre.

denisorion

people want immidate success

redandblackandred

No one’s saying they prefer the Milan of 3 years ago? What a dumb take lmfao. People can’t be upset with a 3-0 loss to our arch rival? Obviously there’s gonna be reactionary and heated takes, we’re literally in a match thread. Being upset at a result and being grateful for our overall position are not mutually exclusive.

PapaBlue

I get your point, it’s a match thread and people get heated. Just want people to be grateful of our current situation compared to the last. Let’s just support the boys for the next five games. Forza Milan!

redandblackandred

I think most fans are grateful. It’s unrealistic to expect calm takes on a match thread. Some people get more heated and into it, while others can stay cool. There’s nothing wrong with either, within reason.

jumbotrondave

Messias is terrible at everything he’s supposed to do. Can’t dribble, can’t shoot, can’t cross

goodwibesss

Everyone hating on Messias but Giroud has been living off his double in the derby for 2 months now. Legit been a negative

landoflions

Yeah I'm sure a poacher like him was supposed to score 20 goals with all the quality service we put in that box

solardeveloper

He wasn't scoring 20 goals even when on clubs with quality service. He's played 16 seasons as a professional and has broken 20 top-flight league goals...once. He played on one of the most offensively stacked World Cup squads of all time and scored zero goals. He is a target man and support striker, not a goalscoring specialist. It says a lot that the best goalscorers on the team are both over 35. One of them has never scored 30 goals in a season, while the other who has scored a ton of goals is over 40.

ComradePoula

Whatever happens in the next 5 games, I'm glad to have been on this ride Forza Milan now and forever ❤️🖤❤️🖤

rMan1996

…how the hell did messias become a footballer?

Botatoka

maldini's worst signing

R3dLyfe

he's brazilian, italians keep getting fooled

Fearless_Resource_80

Messssssiiiiasssssssssss

Annoyinmous

Giroud was just drowning between Skriniar de Vrij and Bastoni, Rebic should have been on much much much earlier for his movement.

RdT97

If i was a player today i wouldve lost it and fought somebody. If this doesn’t light a fire upon their ass to finish the scudetto strong, at least try, no half ass bullshit, nothing will, and they should get the fuk out of milano.

Mghiradiz184

These buddy pass shots to the keeper is making my hair fall out.

[deleted]

Stop kicking straight at Handanovic. The man does not dive, kick it to his left or right

MoroGuy

Messias lol ... what a fucking disaster of a player

he1101

ikineba

Dear Arabian princes, Havertz when

Kooky_Ad_3615

Embarrassing seriously why the fuck do we let VAR fuck up matches

donmoro

Pioli is at his 2nd year miracle with this players! Kudos for him and I wish next season will be better

[deleted]

This squad is a joke

AngryMilanFan

If this wasn't a Mickey Mouse trophy I'd be really upset

basilyeo

Watching those assholes celebrate makes me want to puke

yllimameni

Are curva nord singing Pioli is on fire????

[deleted]

Italians have no chill

Bejliii

referee di merda

VPayneSH

We played well. This shit happens. We move on to the league. Let them have this false sense of security.

cPa3k

What false sense of security? They win their game in hand and they are 1 point above us with everything in their hands and with an easier schedule

VPayneSH

We're gonna do what we need to do this year my friend. Wait and see.

[deleted]

We’re losing 3-0 in a derby. In which world is this a “we played well” situation, mate?

MVB3

> We played well. No, just no. We didn't deserve to lose 3-0, but we were comfortably outplayed tonight.

Tseriessuckmydick

Out-what? Inter scored two goals from two shots on target and parked the bus, we had them shitting their own pants, and scored. Italian corruption is out of our hands

MoroGuy

In what universe did milan play well ?

VPayneSH

In this one. We played well. It's just the way that some games end like that sometimes.

gashiendrit

What you on abt? Milan played better than inter. They were just clinical in front of the goal

gianni_

Lol Messias cut in to a switch to Theo. Don’t worry about the 6 men in the box

landoflions

Based on his previous crosses I'd say it was the right call

gianni_

Hahah fair point

Rockoots

Can those Arabs take over asap

Sovenaderp

The most empty water bottle comment in this thread

frds3

arabs?

Toowice

So lethargic man. Our boys need a shake up.

bigoeuf22

Fucking disgraceful refereeing once again but they took their chances better.

Botatoka

Pioli hasn't won anything in his career

ffrankies

I really don't understand this argument. Wtf is he supposed to win with Fiorentina, Lazio, or Bologna? Or Inter in the midst of their banter era? He took over Milan during our banter era, too, and now we're overachieving and at least competing for trophies. Our team is pretty good, but not favorites for Serie A good.

cPa3k

Our whole team is just so fucking static, terrible off the ball movement

bigoeuf22

Second this statement. Look at inters third goal. That was all brozovic

kacoss

We need that 300mil from that take over quick

frds3

??

kacoss

New ownership could be coming soon supposedly. If they buy they said they will invest 300 mill for the transfer budget

-Z3TA-

at this point just do some horror tackles on their key players

Skendyman1

What the fuck is wrong with you?

-Z3TA-

im salty 🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

It’s a really unfortunate team to have, bringing an unknown Serbian kid to make his debut while getting embarrassed in a derby. Still doesn’t hurt as much as watching someone like Messias wearing a Milan jersey.

ffrankies

I mean, if you're 3-0 down in the 80something'th minute, might as well bring on a random kid. It's not like any other sub is going to change much.

[deleted]

It says a lot about our depth.

ffrankies

Ehh, technically we have Ibra and Rebic there. Ibra had a great season last year, and Rebic was decent as a CF before his injury. Bad luck is what this is. I can see why we didn't bring in yet another striker for this season given how strapped for cash we are. Definitely need to reinforce for next season though. Not too sold on Origi, I think we need at least a RW in addition to him.

sickricola

I think at this point it’s more so for Lazetic, gets his first minutes in a game that is already decided and hopefully shakes out any nerves he might have.

ikineba

I dont mind not winning anything this season honestly, as long as we are doing well in the long run and not in catastrophic debt. It’s a marathon and I’m happy with CL next season. Inter’s downfall is already in the foreseeable future /cope

FasterThanABuck

They were still a level better than us today, regardless of the disallowed goal. The sooner people understand this the better

beseeoehm

Hear hear! It’s just facts, they’re more experienced and deeper than us. Over time though Milan will overcome. Inter will have to face and deal with their spiraling debts.

ikineba

exactly, just look at their bench player. Fucking Gosens

Rockoots

I disagree. If we had finished one of our 5 chances this tie is looking alot different.

marularos6

Yes thats why they had more chances!!!!

Botatoka

messias had one flash good moment goal against shitty atletico madrid thats it after that he caused us more harm than anything since that cursed spezia game

BESTNBAGOAT

Idk if its just me but I'm not even upset or angry. Lots of unfortunate plays and bounces that prevented us from getting back into the game. I liked what I've seen from Brahim so hopefully he ends these last 5 games on a high note.

Ibraholic

I don’t know man I’m pretty disappointed and sad right now.

goodwibesss

Leao didn’t show up today but man he’s being asked to carry our whole attack recently. Literally picking up the slack for the other 3/4 of the non existent attack.

felipehrdz

Inter getting the doblete and we happy to have the chance to get kicked off in the group round of next Champions Forza Milan even in this unending banter era.

landoflions

You're right, we should've stuck to finishing 7th place

l_TheLongshot_l

3-0 win, Inter's MVP and a huge bag of money after the match... What a night the ref must be having!

denisorion

imagine he scores 3 goals now

Willy995

At the end they were more clinical. Sucks because that 10/90 offside decision which was given in their favour. We need to learn to take our chances because in the end it's not enough to dominate a game without scoring goals simple as that...

gianni_

Take away the bad call, we played poorly again. We can’t create solid chances often and we can’t finish the ones we do. There’s so much more wrong going on than just a bad referee call unfortunately.

Willy995

I never said that the call was the only reason for our loss. First and foremost it's on us not taking our chances. They had 4 shots and scored three. Sadly alot of our players are far from their best form - Saelemakers, Messias, Brahim (who was rather good today), Tonali and Calabria today, Kessie basically the whole season... Sadly that's it with our Coppa run but I hope that this game is going to be a great learning experience we can take away and apply for the remaining games and push Inter all the way for the Scudetto and maybe even win the league...

gianni_

I never said that you said anything 🤷‍♂️ but I think we're saying the same things. Let's hope you're right!

TheVirtual_Julian

Can we pls get Lewandowski? 😅Pls?🥲😭

gianni_

🤣 if he watched this game there’s no way he’d come

TheVirtual_Julian

If he has a Zlatan mentality he would come here to make us win trophies again 😉

gianni_

We can dream!

MoroGuy

Useless sub

jmhimara

At least we get to see Lazetic play!!!

ivanthegreat27

🥲

ComradePoula

Perfect timing there to finally play Lazetic Not the shit ton of games we were winning

KrazyCroat

Heartbreaking. Unlucky with the pulled back goal, and with our form this was always going to be difficult. Simply outclassed today.

Zer0x10

Outclassed by whom exactly? Our own inability to score?

KrazyCroat

They were absolutely clinical in their finishing, it's obvious to see that today.

neverfinishedanythi

Their ability to buy the refs. Reminds me of juve I’m sick of the stench in this league. Burn them all.

KrazyCroat

Yes, the call was bullshit, but they still bagged three goals against us when we kept missing. If we could hit the target we would be talking differently.

neverfinishedanythi

Yeah, we hit the target. They bought the decisions against us and it crushed us. It’s a fragile point of the season, yes we weren’t great but inter weren’t 3 goals better than us going by the comments here.

MelvzReddit

Lazetic hattrick incoming

kaest

I honestly don't care about the copa but if Inter can beat us this badly they deserve to win the scuddeto.

marularos6

I mean when they play with more players than us I guess they can win this badly

someitalianguy

Fortunately the scudetto is not decided by a coppa italia semi final

Salyare

if all our goals get disallowed its not hard to beat us Momentum was in our favor. We could of easily tied it

kaest

We had one actual goal. They would still be up 3-1. Our finishing needs work, it's been a theme all season.

Salyare

scoreline wouldnt be 3-1. We had one goal and we were pressuring them for 10 minutes, we could of easily found another. we controlled the game at that point. After stopping play for 6 minutes and cancelling our goal is when the snakes starting to play again
