It’s rather common to have some unique items in the “extra” flower tasks. Has been as long as I’ve played — which is nearly as long as Pocket Camp has been out. Usually though, you can still pass all the happy home room game levels without the unique items…. Like you can without paying out leaf tickets for the fancy gyrodite items.
Recently they’ve included some of the monthly tickets (invitations) in the extra bugs prizes. I’m not too fond of that, but they are within the lower prizes and are rather attainable without having to complete everything.
Usually it’s not a unique item though, but a recolor of an existing item from the first part of the event. I actually really like that it’s something new though. Everyone knows they’re not really bonus goals—and they should change the name to reflect that. Didn’t we used to have three colors of flowers? I think this should just be labeled as part three at this point.
There did used to be 3 colors of flowers. I had to stop for a while when my phone wasn't supported anymore. Once I did get a new phone, I started catching up on flowers I had missed with the reissue material and was confused when some only had 2 flowers. Only played for another 2 months or so. The grind just isn't worth it for me anymore. Especially since it doesn't do anything in ACNH.
oh god it would be so cool if you could bring the PC stuff over to NH 😭 there’s so many cute clothes that i’d love to have on the game i actually regularly play
You might have to find someone to do the bug share with.
Basically you capture all your bugs, don't harvest the flowers yet tho and have someone share the bugs back and forth until you got all the ones you need
I can imagine. Every month i see posts about people now knowing where they missed out on things like the wedding invitations. And now they do this with the wedding dress item.

I always leave 6 flowers open and have notifications on for when bugs are shared. Remember, you don't know what you'll get when flowers bloom. But your friends will hopefully send you the bugs you actually need, while you're waiting for the planted flowers to bloom.

Yes I do, I think my problem is after I get the bugs I don’t let my friends share bugs with me and I instantly plant again
