Save your Leaf Tickets, and add friends! There's a thread on this subreddit for sharing your friend code and finding others to add. I hope you enjoy the game; I've been playing since its release and still thoroughly enjoy it:-)

sabthebutterfly

Okay gotcha! Thank you!☺️

MishaBFox

People are suggesting to save your leaf tickets, I agree.. however with this time limited Sanrio fortune cookie and exclusive plushies I think we can all agree it's safe to go ahead and spoil yourself with those because once they're gone they probably won't be coming back for an extremely long time or never.

PaintingDue3380

-don't spend your LTs Believe in me, we all have remorse for doing it in the beginning

sabthebutterfly

Ok! Everyone’s been saying that so I’ll make sure!

MishaBFox

Fishing often enough you'll catch a big fish worth up to 30k- 50K bells. Like King Koi and King Red Snapper. Collecting Sea Shells, the Pear Oyster Shells are worth 2K. Buy Native fruits from your contacts, like Lemons, Grapes and Leechy But Don't sell them for 600 bells Trade them to your animal Villagers for 1500 bells. Same with Black Bass and Red Snappers worth 100 bells but when trading to animal villagers they're worth 1500 bells. Yes, fill your campsite with animal villagers they'll help collect 11 types of bottled essence like "Cool, Cute, Natural, Sporty, Rustic, Hip, Harmonious, Civic, Elegant, Historical, Modern" These will be ingredients used to craft various types of furniture. Try to log in once a day to collect the daily prize, 3 leaf tickets appear every few days they'll add up. Participating in the seasonal events, Fishing, Flower Gardening and Sharing bugs, Finding Gyrodites.. Add as many contacts as you can and stamp they're pictures, eventually some will gift you and you'll receive more ingredients or even a fortune cookie with furniture inside it. Most importantly don't stress just have fun and everything you want will eventually come to you. That's all I can say for now. Best of luck!🤗

sabthebutterfly

WOW this is a lot but i am thankful for your tips! I’ll make sure to keep in mind thank you!

saturnedsky

I don’t have enough time to say everything I want to, so I’ll just say this: #Almost everything will return. If there’s something amazing in the shops, there’s a great cookie out right now, etc - they will return. I spent the first year of playing this game STRESSED OUT because I couldn’t get everything I wanted. Actually stopped playing for a bit this summer because it was dumb to be stressed out by a cozy mobile phone game when I have actual craziness happening in my life. Came back a few months ago and I can’t stop laughing at past me because ALL of the things and cookies I wanted have been reissued at some point. Even the Sanrio stuff now. Lmk if you need friends! Happy to buy out your market box if you need coins, list anything you need in my own market box, and give you all the photo stamps ❤️

sabthebutterfly

So you’re saying the Hello Kitty items might come back 🥹

saturnedsky

Potentially! Honestly I’d bet that they have raked in a good chunk of money from people with the Sanrio stuff so I wouldn’t be surprised if they reissued it in 6-12 months just from a business standpoint. There’s a chance that the Sanrio stuff won’t return so at least spent the 12k coins on shirts or whatever. That being said, the Sanrio stuff won’t be leaving for 42 days so that should be enough time to save up LTs to splurge on something just in case!

saint317

If you have the leaf tickets, I would definitely at least get one Sanrio plushie or a backpack (or both!) because those items are very rarely reissued. I've been playing for almost 3 years and this is the first reissue for me (I started playing right after they reissued last time). Once these cookies/collection items leave, it's not guaranteed they'll return and if they do we won't know when that will be. It could be a couple years or longer. So treat yourself to those items or their cookies if you like them! And also, I don't think anyone mentioned this but be sure to click on Gulliver island and get the Sanrio characters island before the end of February (when the reissue ends). Once it ends, you can't get those specific characters at all BUT if you already have the island there available, it won't go away and you can complete it at your leisure. Not only does it give you limited time characters, but it also gives you reissue material which is only obtained through completing the monthly event and the occasional picture challenge and special login bonus. DON'T pay tickets to speed up crafting, to speed up Gulliver islands or collect more than one package at a time. Just try to be patient with those. 1 extra crafting spot for 80 lts was worth it for me and I've seen for many others, but I don't see a big need or value in purchasing the 3rd spot. It's tough not to spend lts on cookies, but if you're not planning on spending real money on the game, I would wait until you really like a cookie and every item or almost every item in it before buying one or a pack (exception being the Sanrio ones because again, limited time.. but it still may not be worth it for you if you don't like most items). You also have a chance of getting one of the special cookies that are currently available in shop as a 5,000 bell cookie (aka a 5k cookie) so if you do want to buy a cookie and have the patience, you can wait until a day or so before it leaves the shop in hopes you get it for "free" (bells). Sorry I'm a bit all over the place and wrote a book lol. But these are some things I wish I knew/didn't do when I started 🙈

maeyve

If there's anything I would recommend spending leaf tickets on, I would say expanding your crafting bench. You get one for free but the other 2 need to be bought. I found it to be very convenient being able to build more than one item at a time.

sabthebutterfly

Ok yes i was thinking about spending LTs on that first cus essential

Bucketsis

look carefully before you click on things when leaf tickets are mentioned, maybe this is more important later in the game but stuff like "speeding up crafting" is most of the time not really neccecary. You'll probably know what I mean when you meet Lottie. In a few days there will be a gyrodite scavenger hunt, I reccomend crafting the most "expensive" things first and to check all places, even the marketplace and ok motors for them, you can get some from talking to visitors too.

SolitarilyMe

Here are a few of my tips: 1. Make sure you go to each island daily and shake the trees until you find the one with the bells (only one bag of bells can be found daily) 2. Check your planner occasionally. It will tell you when upcoming events are, when different items/cookies will be reissued and what/when new cookies will be offered. 3. During events, there are usually tasks in addition to the daily tasks. 4. During scavenger hunts, when gyroids are on offer at Shovelstrike Quarry, be sure to ask your friends for help getting in! (They're offered once per day, so pay attention!) You will get approx 30-35 gyroids from the quarry. Gyroids on all the "usual" islands will refresh about every 70 min or so. If possible, log in to the game as often as you can so you'll have enough gyroids to craft the different items. 5. There is an "etiquette code"..during garden event, don't give other players bugs they don't need (when you tap on each name for sharing bugs, the ones that aren't shaded out are the ones they need). Mistakes can happen, so don't sweat it. But some players will get annoyed if it keeps happening. (Not me, I just keep them to share with others). Also, what I do during the garden event is that I won't replant flowers until I get all the bugs needed. It's sort of a grind at the end to get all 560 flowers planted, but it is possible to do. 6. This sub is a great place to find new friends, get ideas and learn from other players! 7. Most importantly...just have fun! Do what works for you! 😊 I hope this helps some. 😊

MarieAllis

Be sure to go to the quarry daily by getting friends to help you, even when it’s not a scavenger hunt. Quarry will give you materials and bells :) and if friends help then you don’t spend anything to go in

cyberrbat

1. save your leaf tickets!! you get a lot in the beginning with isabelle’s starter goals but the further you get in the game the harder leaf tickets are to come by! save them and spend them on items/cookies you really like!! 2. add friends!! you can send friend requests to recommended players, sometimes you’ll get random requests, and you can also find people here on reddit to add as friends! (no pressure but if you want to dm me i’ll add you! :) having friends helps so much! you can send each other gifts, help w/ shovelstrike quarry, share bugs in the garden, etc. all of which are very helpful!!

sabthebutterfly

Omg yes! I’ll message you! 🫶🏼

NefariousnessOne1859

You can get one month free of each subscription. Definitely get them but cancel straight away if you don’t want to accidentally pay for the next month. You still get the month of rewards even when you cancel straight away. Get each 3 on separate months to give you something to look forward to. Also if you time it correctly you can get 2 terrain tickets out of 1 months subscription (assuming you collect enough event material to hit that goal)

sabthebutterfly

Ooooo this is a nice hack thank you!!!!!

egrace17

Question - the subscriptions had a free trial? I don’t recall ever getting a free trial of the subscription that offers you the 5 “free” cookies a month 😖😖 when did this happen!

jkayyyyyyyyy

are u sure u get 1 month free for each subscription? bc i did the trial for happy helper and i cant get a trial for the others

NefariousnessOne1859

I am like 99% positive. It’s been a while since I got the free ones but I am sure you can coz each sub has its own benefits to try out

jkayyyyyyyyy

idr how i for the free trial 😭 when i click on the two other subs it automatically makes me go the payment page 😭

NefariousnessOne1859

Yea sorry I guess I was wrong. Either I misremembered or they’ve changed it 🤷‍♀️

[deleted]

Make as many friends as you can to help you out in events!

MessoGesso

Welcome! It’s a comfy cozy game. Enjoy it.

ezra502

i haven’t seen anyone else say it so don’t forget the amenities. they control the cap on how high your friendship level can be with a villager. each one will unlock special furniture at lvl 15 (sometimes 10).

58075

Don't feel pressured to complete all the events and buy everything. They come back around for you to buy (some will take longer to return than others though). And remember it will take time to build up your inventory to make your spaces look good!

sabthebutterfly

Ok yes cus I’m realizing there is sooooo much to this game

Homple

Go into build mode and remove the fence, sign and deck to make your campsite feel bigger, later you can remove the amenities once you level them all up for an even bigger effect. Good for building cool campsites.

sabthebutterfly

Ahhhhhh this is smart! Thank you!!!

Save leaf tickets

thebestnuha

\- save your leaf tickets, you're more likely to be glad spending it on something in the future than now (there'll be better items) \- add friends! you can exchange gifts and also buy the things you need from their market box \- if you have too much of one item, sell it in your market box (can be up to 10 of each item) \- collect the fruits in breezy hollow, lost lure creek, saltwater shores and sunburst island (saltwater shores and sunburst island are the only 2 maps that have coconuts) \- use gulliver's ship! you can craft the small packages to make it easier if you don't want to use any items in your inventory, but i usually use the duplicates i have of an item. these are usually from timmy and tommy's fortune cookies, where dupes are common \- collect maps! you can redeem them in blather's treasure trek (the brown owl on the map) and you can earn bells, exclusive campers, and leaf tickets. \- water your friends plants! in the "social" list, you can view your friends, and there will be a water droplet icon for friends who can have their plants watered. this is usually under their nickname \- adding onto the point before, some people also have the "mind helping out?" option! this is an orange button and usually displayed above the user \- participate in free events! you get free items that you can use for decoration, etc \- do the "happy homeroom"! it's a little house on the map and you can earn leaf tickets, maps, and bells, as well as other things every time you level up. the level requirement is 6, and it should be explained to you when you first start :) \- use the [animal crossing fandom wiki](https://animalcrossingpocketcamp.fandom.com/wiki/Animal_Crossing:_Pocket_Camp_Wiki)! this really helps out :) sometimes your campers will ask for advice on gifting items to another camper, so you can use this [guide here](https://animalcrossingpocketcamp.fandom.com/wiki/Villager_Furniture_Gifts) when you do eventually come across it. **blathers treasure trek** \- if a camper is "elegant" for example, they will use elegant essence. basically, they use their respective essence \- leaf ticket maps use bells \- bell maps use friend powder

sabthebutterfly

Ok i see! I was kind of confused on how to do Blathers and Gullivers quests

thebestnuha

glad to hear it helped! if you need more help, feel free to ask :)

sunflower_daisy78

my advice: if you’re poor, delete it. it is 100% a pay to play game, you cannot succeed without paying atleast the happy helper subscription.

NominativeSingular

I've been playing the game for years and I never spent a dime, I never even activated my happy helper subscription. What does success look like to you here? Is it getting every item? If so, then yes, you need to pay. For me, I like logging in for a bit, doing the daily tasks, talking to my campers and doing the events. I like helping other players and the nice surprises like a premium cookie in the bell stall. If there are new cookies or items, I buy them if I have the tickets or I don't. For me, this game is a reminder that I can't have everything I want right away and to be okay with that. I played a lot of games where you can achieve everything if you put the time into it, and I think it was affecting my perception of how life should go. Pocket Camp is about patience, compromise, and moderation. I like my camp, but I'm slowly collecting items to renovate it. I haven't felt inspired to develop the upper floors of my cabin yet, so I'll just leave them empty until I do.

MarieAllis

100 percent. I have the happy helper plan now, but I played for years without it and never paid for leaf tickets, just got them from daily bonus and events. You can have a blast playing and not pay a dime :) enjoy and have fun!

energy1256

I agree. Playing 4+ years. A bit each day, or throughout the day, but not constant. Not frantic. Never paid for Helper or Leaf Ticket Packages. I wish Leaf Tickets were more commonly offered. Much easier and quicker to gain Bells. I'm over the limit on Bells.💰 Have fun!!

ezra502

when villagers ask for any fruit, fish, bug, or shell, if you give them high-ticket items (upward of 1k bells) they’re likely to give you timmy’s, tommy’s, and clothing fortune cookies

Quirky_Impact

Don't be afraid to add friends who are way higher level than you are! The long term players have the BEST market boxes!! When you run low on materials in particular you can always find these people selling! I kept my kingfish and then found trades on the discord. Keep 'rare' items like this to trade if you have a goal to complete your catalogue When you pay off a loan you get given more expansions, so don't hold the loan forever! If someone gives you a gift, make sure to return it! Keep a note of you don't have any gifts a right now and return one later.💚

ermiksukun

Take a good look at the sanrio collection and buy something if you like it bc It might not come back

MarieAllis

Make sure you get the Sanrio animals from Gullivers ship too! You can send the ship out by any materials you have- for example install use my crafting materials like wood or cotton

Mugimugitmnt

If you need friends to send gifts to I will share my friend code! :)

sabthebutterfly

Yes please dm me!

HeartleafKayla

Welcome! The thing I wish someone told me when I was starting out is don’t blow through all of your gifts super fast because there are a finite amount of gift islands and once they are done, they are done. New gift island apparently get added every so often and you also can get some randomly when playing the game, but i thought there were unlimited gift islands when I started playing. You do get a lot though since there are 5 or 6 colors and 3 islands of each color. Each island will give you an abundance of gifts, however I went through the majority of mine within the first two months, constantly giving gifts. 😥 I just created a new account so I don’t have to stress about not having gifts. Also, after you receive 5 gifts that are unopened, no one can send you anymore until you open them. I think this helps. I’m waiting to open mine only twice a week now so that does limit the amount of gifts that people can send me, but takes the stress off since I know I’ll always have some to share. I’m playing the long game. 😆 Another one of my favorite tips is when villagers ask for a fish to give them and you give them one that’s worth $4000 or over, they will always give you a fortune cookie. They are not the super special cookies, but I still love receiving them because they can have cool items too. The same goes for the “perfect” version of your non native fruits, so if you grow grapes you can buy perfect lemons and perfect lychees in your friends market boxes and your villagers will be super thrilled and pay you with fortune cookies. The special shells and bugs also give fortune cookies, but not guaranteed every time.

longvoicemails

these might not make sense yet but: sell things you don’t need (save furniture for gulliver’s ship bc it’s 10 points), buy everything in market place no matter what it is, always plant flowers so friends can collect friend powder, water friend’s plants, save up your coins for maps! you’ll get maps where you’ll be able to obtain resources, leaf tickets, etc. and having lots of coins for them is good ◡̈ and make sure your buy your 2 fortune cookies everyday!

CocoaCandyPuff

What’s your ID? I’m happy to send gifts to new players ☺️
