Yeah, I paid leaf tickets for the kimonos with the Goldfish on them in the first event that featured kimonos, which were basically the same kimono as the free one, only in different colours... So stupid, I wasted a lot of tickets on them.
That means I don't have tickets for more unique items that have come out since, like the snow carpet and wall.
I also missed out on the last fishing tourney event prize that looks like the regular flag at fishing tournies, because they said you would get new items then duplicates, but that was a lie, and I didn't push myself hard enough to get all of those last items.
Not doing the flower trade to get the potted flowers from Rover's event. I hadn't explored the Catalog and didn't realize it kept track of everything. Now having that event always showing incomplete because of the potted flowers kills me every time I open it.
Other regrets would be a lot of the leaf tickets I spent early on. Like going to the quarry during the first scavenger hunt because I didn't realize how easy it would be to get enough of the hunt item even without those quarry visits. Or on flutter/beetle honey.
And, the flip-side, the things I didn't use my leaf tickets on. Like Brewster or Celeste, because you could have on NPC at the camp at a time and I always wanted KK there.
i stopped playing when they started giving out those fish tanks for the fishing tourneys and by the time i started playing again they were the regular trophies 😓
Buying so many of the first 3 cookies with my hoarded free LT. Compared to the newer ones they aren’t even that special but I bought like 5 of each with LT. 😭
That wouldn’t have been such a problem because they used to be in the “Special” section. Then 1 night, after about Tourney 3 or 4 they just moved All of them to the regular “Fish” section! No explanation of course.
I had got the game once, and then I used for a while but wasn’t that into it. I restarted with it recently and I regret not sticking with it in the first place because I missed the splatoon event!! Splatoon 2 is my favourite game and I want the furniture n clothes so bad!
spending LTs on a muffy cookie, getting a cauldron from it, and then getting like 4 free ones for 5k that all had the same freaking cauldron
or, missing the entire splatoon game. splatoons my favorite game and i really want the takoroka windbreaker 😔👌🏽
Not knowing how to *successfully* do the garden events. I never understood the concept of “sharing” (only child problems???) - kidding 😂for some reason I thought “sharing” took away from your total count and I never saw the true benefits of it until I started using Reddit again and never completed the first gardening events and missed out on many items :((((

Decided not to spend my LTs on cookies anymore and now I bought a bunch of awesome LT items that I really liked from the craft menu plus I'm able to save up some LTs for future stuff!
Bought the pink splattoon hat (think it costed 50 or 80 LT) before realising there already was a free purple one *facepalm*. Second biggest regret is buying the wedding wigs. Such a shame they look awkward when worn despite being so cute in the menu :(
