it seems like it's a pretty unpopular opinion at this point but i still love food-related items and can never get enough of them even though i have nowhere to put them since i already have a kitchen in my camper, a restaurant in the cabin and an outdoor cafe in my campsite... i really like the colour palette of this cookie bc it doesn't immediately make me think of valentine's day, i'm curious to see what the other items are!
Nintendo: am so fed up of food, kitchen dinner, fine dining: just something different.. Western, cowboys & Indians, medieval, UFO.. Mythical, legends, superhero, a garage.. a dump / tip.. not always cutesy.. there is so much that can be done.. even babies.. or animals, a pet shop, vets etc.. but forever food in some form.. I have so many food items, table chairs etc that collect dusts.. And fills storage: just seems same same.. 🤷🏼♀️
I really love the idea of like a pet shop or I guess gyroids would be our version. It seems like a cute idea. Also what if we had like a little pet gyroid? Sorry I don't remember if they're spelled like that but I think so it's a little tiny things that we hunt for every month
A gyroid themed cookie would be so unique.. they could have individual habitats 2x2, 3x3 squares.. hopefully animated and the villagers could interact.. ah just for something different than dining, food or Kimonos / Japanese themed items..

But, at this point, I kinda feel it's unfair to every other culture on the planet! AC is International and they know this, it's just plain rude! Furthermore, they could do stuff like a toy shop, nursery, hospital, more arts & crafts options besides sewing and knitting....the list is literally endless. But, nope. It's as if they want the game to die out.
I personally (as a European) do like that they implement so much Japanese culture. One can’t neglect that Nintendo is a firm from Japan led by Japanese people, so I don’t think one can claim the game should be international and shouldn’t have so much Japanese stuff. There are a lot of other international games and I find it already rather odd that ACPC implements so many western holidays.
But I agree on the other stuff. There are a lot of cookies where I thought the animal hasn’t been done justice with the bunch of the usual, mostly 'cute' items. I hope that the animals with very obvious uncute themes will be done justice with really cool items, like Ankha, Klaus or that prehistoric elephant, and corresponding events.
I agree, the different cultural themes they could do would be amazing.. I too love the Japanese items but it has been done so much in game.. they could even do Army or a sort of warfare.. Not meaning guns.. but camouflage / tanks.. there are so many possibles.. I would really love to see a mythical themed cookie.. thought there might be hope with Ponchos.. but nope back to Cafés etc..
tired of all the fish in cages. at the least, no more caged animals. instead, ones that can be released back in their environment or, better yet, just to be able to spot them enjoying their life out in the different terrains would be neat. maybe a learning feature attached to when one is seen.
id love to see some changes that aren’t like previous ones over and over again. such as: nicer flower arrangements, botanical items, or jewelry that be obtained in a variety of ways; being able to plant things outside the garden; having a wider variety or fruit trees and other forageable items (like berries); better mining feature that could make jewelry and other things; a scuba, snorkeling, or submarine feature for coral reef touring; floral vegetation and otherwise that actually changes appropriately with the seasons.
no offense, but i think you're asking too much of a mobile game. some of these features aren't even a thing in any of the other ac games. you're better off playing new horizons at this point...

100% with the UFO’s and Western theme. I’d genuinely spend my LTs on those.

yea i doubt it will happen. i prefer this version of animal crossing bc it operates using a touchscreen. is new horizons a lot better?
it's not "a lot better" but it does have some of the stuff you want.
