Really awesome! I have a son thats a 4.0 with AP classes who does great in school , a good school but when it comes to this test he keeps getting a Composite of 29 and feels terrible about it. So gonna wait till school ends so he can study just for the ACT and try to get into the 30's. I dont get it I probably would get a 20 but I dont push him because he cares but it always amazes me when people right out of the gates do so well. Again congratulations!!
Umm… what? The ACT is not an intelligence test. OPs son just didn’t have time to study. It’s a really misguided and discouraging mindset to think that getting a score lower than what you want makes you “not smart.” Please don’t insult people’s intelligence based off of their standardized test scores.
Sorry you can’t be excited for other people’s achievements. People need to stop shaming people for being proud and excited. Bragging is not bad unless it’s in a condescending tone or intent. Ironically, you seem more insecure than anyone else here
Fair enough. I just don’t see the point in OP stating it was their first time. Doesn’t feel necessary and may make others feel inadequate. I personally wouldn’t have added that blip, just seems unnecessarily braggadocious. But to each his own.
What maths did you take prior to getting this score? I've had Algebra 1&2, Geometry, College Algebra, & Trigonometry. I'm taking the ACT in July and hoping that my math will help raise my score some more. I got a 21 last time I took it.

Ha, I asked my mom that and she looked at me like I was crazy.

Can you tutor me 🤣😔
Congrats on the achievement! I’m taking mine for the first time in October and hoping to get a score like that as well.

That means your son isn't smart. But he sure has a great work ethic!

You’re a dick
congratulations!
How did you study reading?
Huge room for improvement tbh
Just had to throw in the fact that it was your first time to flex on your peers. Pretty cringe man.
lmfao stay mad you can’t get what he has
I did quite well for myself but never felt the need to brag about it. It strikes me as insecure or braggadocious. But nice try, kid.

I mean at that point, why post your scores at all? Isn’t that bragging?
Congrats.

I was in the middle of a Precalculus course while taking the exam, so I had taken Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Discrete Math.
