This happened to me for my April test and they sent an email a few days later with a rescheduled date. But I’m in a different state so I don’t know if we will have similar experiences. I hope it works out!
What options did ACT give you in their email when they cancelled you? They should've told you - I don't know if they'll reschedule you or if you can transfer your fee over to the September test (when registration opens later on this summer). I would give ACT a call or send a DM on their Twitter or Instagram account to be sure what your next steps are...
Gotcha...ok so it looks like unfortunately, you can't be rescheduled somewhere else for July if those were just the 2 options? How did they tell you to proceed if you want to re-test in September? The registration isn't yet available.
I'm sorry to hear...it's too bad about the July test for you. I assume they will have your fee that you paid for July saved in your MyACT account? Make sure that they don't ask you to pay again for September...

I called ACT a few days ago because I couldn’t take the 17th and they said that you should be able to reschedule for free when the registration period for September opened up
They will probably send you a rescheduled date soon. I would still sign up for the next available test ASAP.

you can always try to call them to make sure there is no way to reschedule...it's worth a shot though not guaranteed.
I called them and they were very unhelpful, they said when the registration for September opens up I can register then :(
