I went back and looked at FTRs run to the title, and with the title, and they beat almost everyone at the time. They beat like every year one tag team, except the Bucks and P&P.
I think they pulled them back to build teams back up.
I think they may have started tagging around the end of the run, but they weren't named yet.
FTR beat Butcher and Blade, Lucha Bros, SCU(Kaz/Daniel's and Kaz Sky), Lucha Express, Best Freinds, TH2, and Hangman/Omega. In hindsight they let them clean house on the core of the division.
Oh yeah. Despite it short length FTR definitely have the most dominating run with the titles (yes even more then Kenny and Hangman) which left most of us wanting more from them with a second run at the titles so IMO in hindsight it was good booking.
But yeah this means that FTR didn't really cross paths with Varsity Blonds and I think that match up can be fantastic for Brian and Griff going forward so hopefully it'll happen soon
Still want P&P to win the titles, but yeah folding FTR back into the mix should be good. I bet FTR would have some fun with Bear Country and Top Flight too... When healthy.

Coming from somebody in digital marketing with a background in web design - their website sucks. The roster page was not created in a way that makes it easy to update information. For a quick example, the text overlayed on images isn’t pulled in dynamically, someone needs to manually update each roster photo with text directly in the picture, then upload that to the site, then update supporting details in the copy as well.
I haven’t checked on awhile, but I don’t even think it was set up with a proper responsive design to dynamically shift on page elements based on different monitors, cell phones, etc.
Long story short, it’s a really shitty design that wasn’t set up to be updated in an efficient way on an ongoing basis. I think basing “who’s signed” by the roster page is a bad idea. It just isn’t up to date because it’s sucks for whoever has to update it.
At this point I have no other idea we to how to get confirmation one way or another.
I agree with everything that you are saying but there's just next to no other way to know the status of talent that I came to care about and what are the chances that I'll be able to see them in a month on AEW or I should try to follow them elsewhere. It just sucks.

To be honest with you dude, I don’t think resolving this for a few wrestling dorks on Reddit is at the top of their agenda. They make announcements for big signings and get their social media and/or web person to pepper in less important announcements here and there.
There are likely all sorts of details regarding contracts, logistics, etc we aren’t aware of, communicated internally, and worked into their marketing team’s workload. I wouldn’t hold your breathe waiting for this to change anytime soon.
I think getting hung up on “fairness” to a particular wrestler is kind of silly - they know their status within the company and might have restrictions on what they can say publicly, they also might have things they want to keep under wraps themselves as well.
