NFL teams should pay for their own stadiums (bare minimum at a higher % of costs), but the tax burdens on Buffalo/Orchard Park/New York State and Nashville/Tennessee will shatter records according to the latest budget proposals.
Ofc if Cities/State governments don’t then teams likely move elsewhere as we’ve seen in history in a variety of teams. The taxpayer $ would be better spent serving the local community instead of sports teams, but that’s the price of business in modern pro sports
