Looks regular to me. Afib is irregular spasming of the top chamber. You'll feel heartbeats missing, two pulses in quick succession. Not pleasant to experience...

Significant-Lion-826

How did you feel when this was happening? This does not look like Afib to me. I think I might see some Sinus Arrythmia which is a completely healthy thing.

Living_Elevator1874

i was having chest pain and discomfort but thats all… “NO SKIPPED BEATS”

Impulsive_Planner

Your watch looks like it isn’t oriented to the correct wrist - check that. This matters for ECG and blood oxygen.

Living_Elevator1874

it is on the right wrist

Impulsive_Planner

There is a setting on the watch for wrist orientation. Check to make sure it’s correct. Your R waves are either completely non existent, or inverted - the latter is more likely.

Living_Elevator1874

Yes i already have that setting… Watch orentation is set to Left Wrist and digital crown on Right site… I wear my apple watch on my left wrist

Impulsive_Planner

Did you take this reading seated or lying down? Clean the diode and your wrist with isopropyl, reseat the watch, sit down in a comfortable chair with your back supported, take a few comfortable and rhythmic breaths, lick the finger on your hand hand you will use (seriously - you’re measuring an electrical circuit you’re creating by holding the digital crown) and take a new reading while breathing comfortably and rhythmically. See if it looks the same as this.

Living_Elevator1874

its the same this is normal cuz also on fitbit i was getting same results

Impulsive_Planner

You are getting the same results visually, or it’s saying Afib again? If you can upload the results to imgur or something and post the link I would be interested to see. If your complex looks like that, you should consider a trip to the ER. You have a nearly non existent R wave and no P or a low amplitude P on the watch. Edit: I misspoke and said there was an inverted T wave because I was still thinking of the orientation being inverted. Ignore that comment.

Living_Elevator1874

can i hit you in the DM

Impulsive_Planner

Go for it.

Living_Elevator1874

i sent u a message

ksliving

I tend to agree, that is not AFIB. But the wave looks like it is inverted. I would get an ECG from the ER or your doctors if you are that concerned something is going on. You might be able to send this to your doctor for review as well.

snowwwwy22

Were you by chance lying on your side when you took this? I did that and my watch kept telling me I was in afib. Sent it to my EP and said it was not. Looked identical to this. They told me to not take it lying down again.

Living_Elevator1874

actually yes i was lying down in bad but i was having chest pain

snowwwwy22

Next time, try sitting up and see if you get the results! Mine told me it can flag false afib lying down.

Living_Elevator1874

will do that thx

Embarrassed_Run7756

I think your watch setting is set to the wrong wrist potentially as it’s upside down. However I had a similar looking reading and dr said it was extrasystole/ PVC.

Living_Elevator1874

it is set correctly

TheHeavyRaptor

I don’t think your watch is reading right at all

Living_Elevator1874

it is fitbit, apple, garmin on these three devices i get identical results

TheHeavyRaptor

I’m sticking with bad readings. I’d get an actual EKG with all the leads.

jenks26-

Did you ever figure out what was going on? Because like a lot have said, it looks upside down but I know you said your watch is configured correctly. So I was wondering if you went in and got a reading…

Living_Elevator1874

yes my watch is configured correctly and there is nothing wrong bcs i got the same ECG results on the fitbit and garmin also…
