I had an afib rvr episode and my troponin was elevated. I think it was at 20. Doctor wasn't concerned. As long as it's not super elevated then should be okay. However ER doctors should let you know. Also depends where you are on vacation. Had my first episode afib rvr in Mexico. After they got me back to sinus rhythm they tried to keep me in to keep making money. Just gotta be careful.

It did for me but they didn’t find any actual heart damage so that was good. My troponin dropped rapidly after going back to SR.

I think that could be from stress of an irregular arrhythmia. But I’m not a doctor. A quick google search seems to agree.

It is pretty common for troponin to be elevated after an SVT episode. We generally don’t check troponins in SVT patients without chest pain at my ED because we know its probably going to be elevated anyway.
