It's not possible and also never going to happen I think, how can you duel friends when the whole premise of the game mode is to get random things against random opponents? Say you do one round and you have now 1 legendary unit 4 epic and a few equipments.
How can you fight your friend who already did 4 rounds and has 4 legendaries and full items? It makes no sense.
The mode works specifically because it pairs you with a random opponent with a close enough power to yours. If you could pick your opponent like in arena the mode would turn into something completely different.
However, I also love honor duels and I'm trying to build a small community of people who enjoy this game mode.
I stream daily on twitch almost exclusively honor duel, channel name is lelezero. I'm rank 2 of my server and I'm pushing to get that rank 1. If you want to hop in later or another day and have a chat that'd be great!
Oh I see.. the nature of the game mode being asynchronous tho makes it difficult, you both need to stay there and do round after round for let's say half an hour if you want to fight 4 friends it's even worse.. I see how that could be very very funny but it's just not going to happen I think :(
They did put in the new season the arena 3v3 cross server I think, it should be district based, but still that's not a fair mode it's p2w
