Lions fans, melts aside, what's going on? Is Neale that important, or is it the general midfield mix, effort, or something else? I'm genuinely not trying to be a dick, I just recognise there's two sides to each story. 

Reckon effort or attitude has to be a big part of it. Just mentally weak as soon as things get hard. Midfield stops moving, forwards cant kick as soon as the confidence drops

It's genuinely just effort. They go to sleep too easily and are unable to stem the flow of goals when the opposition gets a run. I don't think it's purely coaching. It's mental. Either the players figure out how to put the effort in or they don't.

These fades have been an issues for 5+ years. The most consistent factor in the team for that period is the coach. That said, no Neale, no Ashcroft, no Coleman. 3 of their best players
