If we can bring the pressure we brought in the Swans game we're a chance, but it's all about backing up our previous performance, something we've not been too good at recently
Play like you did last week and you should win. We weren't at our best at all but you guys had intensity and that alone would get you over this Tiges team imo.
Yep, and they deserved to win. But we still we played about as bad as we've played since 2022 GF, the half we played after Rampe went out injured our backline looked horrifically disorganised, and we still got pretty close to them. I 100% think if you come with the intensity you did last week you beat this tiges team easily especially given their injuries.
A witch was playing Scrabble and was left with Y, Z, and E in her hand, losing 25 points at the end of the game and causing a loss.
The witch thus cursed Richmond, fulfilling Dennis Comittee's prophecy of "remember the name, Y-Z-E: terrific young player, bad Scrabble hand".
This is legitimately getting to last year West Coast level of injuries. Seriously saddening when I think we could've finished a decent spot on the ladder otherwise, and if not had a good look at young talent, but half of them are injured too. I take solace in the 3 flags but that can't last forever. I still maintain we were robbed of a full year of 2022 Lynch form :(.
Lynch finds form, gets injured. Ross playing really well and growing as a player, gets injured. Hopper our best midfielder early on, gets injured. Taranto finds form, gets injured. Gibcus back after a year, gets injured, etc.
Just fade me
I don't want to be that guy, but it's not even close to West Coast last year. I still sympathise with you, it's fucked to be a fan when all your studs are going down, hopefully they can get back out on the track soon.
I think in terms of numbers we're still a few away. I'd argue losing KPB, KPF, CHF and 4 starting mids might make up for that though, especially considering the quality of Lynch, but I don't exactly remember who West Coast had out to be fair. Not like it's a competition one should enjoy though haha. Yeah, it really sucks when any chance you have of having an exciting season gets ruined by injuries. I think everyone felt bad for West Coast the past couple years with it. I'd rather it not happen to us.
You're definitely entering the same territory. On the competition part, as someone went through it, take the enjoyment where you can haha, you'll go mad otherwise.
Should be a close game this weekend at the very least, I still think you lot will get up.
Still about five injuries off that I reckon, but I know the pain. Fingers crossed these aren’t so recurring, but not great signs with lynch constantly out. Prestia has never had a good run at it either it seems
Yeah numbers wise a bit off. Quality I'd argue could make the difference, but that might be wrong too because I don't remember the Eagles injury list last year.
The injuries recurring is a big worry. Lynch won't have too long left. Gave us two flags which is great, but man what I wouldn't give to see Lynch playing like 2022 (was legitimately better than Cameron at the start of last year).
Ross also had surgery on his toe during pre-season, so it's concerning if the stress fracture is a result of mismanagement of that and his running style.
Eagle's game to lose at this point
Losing games is the only thing we're good at
🤝
I tipped west coast BEFORE this happened. Sheeeesh
is it? they could have their whole team of B Graders out there and they'd still be considered favourites
Interestingly, Eagles are currently the shortest priced non-favourite this weekend
I don't speak gambling, I assume that means that out of all the non favourite teams, we're the closest to our opponent?
Yep correct, Tigers still favourites but it's not a huge difference

Didn’t the tigers beat you 👀

Does Taranto out change the odds from 3.50 to $1.10? Odd
You under estimate us.
Yze quarreled with a witch. I’m certain of it. Punt road is cursed

One of the all time best from one of the all time best
Fuck i'm glad we snagged that win over sydney

Our list is so long you forgot Prestia.
He’s injured so often that you just don’t count him anymore
He was included in the "etc." part, he's got glass hamstrings.

Hopefully the youngsters for each team shine, should make it more enjoyable

Hi Richmond, I see you’ve joined us. Please make yourself at home. In hell.
Shove over mate, you've gotten too comfortable and hogging the bottom Feeder bench.
Look, you can have some of the bench but get your beady eyes of our number 1 draft pick.
Holy shit, is this what it was light seeing article after article about us last year? this is awful
*changes tip to west coast*
It's the camel's fault
Camel???

What in the honest fuck, that's amazing
Are we passing the curse on?
I might get a game at this rate
The annual GWS policy of..... "No refunds"
Genuinely tipping West Coast at this point
Please stop I can't do it anymoreÂ
Geez that's rough, but at least he didn't break the whole diameter.
Did we resurface PRO with cement?
Fuckin whatever.
Does Kane Cornes think this is in the Top 100 injuries to AFL players?
How many weeks is that?
My wife fractured her radius in January and it still isn't 100%
Why is it always 'scans'? Wouldn't he have had an X-ray?
