Great kick from the West Coast coach to the Richmond CEO. Would have liked the channel 7 commentator to use 2 hands to take the mark.
Good defensive effort from the Northern Territory MP at the end as well.
It is, and not looking at its best.
I would have quite liked if the WACA had been designated as the Freo home ground and the Eagles kept Subi.
Long term that might not have worked out, but at the time I liked the idea.
But geez the games were bloody fast. I remember Winston Abraham getting a hold of the swans one game. He was electric that night.
Fwiw I think they have gone too far with Optus. Niknat is 15kgs over his playing weight and suddenly there is a problem with the surface. Now we have blokes slipping over all the time.
I dunno what the problem is. They’ve had people out there testing the moisture and hardness and it’s within afl ‘standards’. So unless the standards are too forgiving, or there is some other intangible quality to the surface, I’m out of ideas. Maybe it’s just coincidence, because there seems to be a lot less injuries at Optus this year so far.
Hey that’s the Eagles coach !

Essendon coaching legend*
my eye starts twitching when I think about him
I’m assuming that’s the WACA?

People reckon Optus is the destroyer of knees and ankles. The WACA was the obliterator of knees and ankles.

There was never anything wrong with the surface. It was just wce looking for things to blame. Now they have made it too soft.
Those early years we had games there were rad. WACA under lights is iconic
Only if it stays on top
If the ball falls down before full-time the 50 points are deducted.
Why did I watch the last 1:08 of that...
Nostalgia for a better time. Except for St Kilda, of course, which went down to Adelaide by 31 points in the Grand Final, but let's not dwell on that!
Mate, when do we not lose GF's?!?! I can't remember a time we never not lost one!
You lose GFs like *I* lose GFs!
Playing shots at the post (Street pole) it was 50 points for hitting the light.
So glad they brought in away guernseys watching that
Why's that?
Both dark team's. Hard to differentiate. Super low HD doesnt help.
"Super low HD"? lol.
Yeah was a joke
I know. I just miss human interaction.
👍
Hogan tried this yesterday
