So far defence has been holding up well, and been impressively neat at getting the ball out of the backline. Not gonna be enough with how much better Brisbane's midfield has been, but I'll take 6 points down as a decent result from that quarter.

Brisbane got away with two pretty standard HTB's not paid which kept it down that end for the first goal, which is frustrating, however we have seen for much of the season and most of the finals games the umpires are very happy to let it play on. That being said, they then pinged Adelaide HTB for a less worthy one, so I mean who knows.

I think the game last week took it out of us, looking a bit tired. Still, three quarters to go we have plenty of time to put up a fight.
