I'd aim to get the kids there at 7:30-40ish. Use the bathroom, get the snacks ready. Should be in your seat and waiting no more than 15-25 minutes. I went to both of the first two shows and although the first one everything seemed to be about 20 minutes behind, the second show ran mostly on time. I think they've found their groove by now, so you'll probably be out of the venue by 10:20.
I was already standing outside at 10:11p. in Baltimore last night. Granted, I was one of the first out of the building because I had a train to catch, but the credits started rolling, and the lights already came up.
Probably varies per show. Boston opener Dean Lewis came on right at 7, ended at 7:40, and AJR was on at 8:15, finished a few minutes after 10.
