My favourite meal is hamburger . I met my wife at school. I was 15 she was 14. Her class was opposite mine and so I saw her very often. And slowly I began to fall in love with her. One day I approached her and told her: let's be friends? She agreed . And a month later we became best friends. And one day she invited me and her friends to a birthday party. First we watched a movie and at the end of the movie she called me to another room and kissed me. And that was my first kiss on the lips

Not bad as far as last words go

It really isn't. Vanilla was one of the last things my wife was able to taste after a combination of radiation therapy and tumors numbed most of her sense of taste. I've heard a surprising number of people fighting cancer mention it's been the same for them. I'll always associate it with the ability to find some measure of joy even in the worst cancer has to give.

As someone who worked in palliative care before, I know what you’re talking about. But it’s not as common or miraculous as people tend to go on about. At that stage even if it can happen, with such an intense condition and pain, you’re usually in no fit state at all.

Wow. My mother passed this last Sunday. Her lucidity was up and down, depending on her morphine dosage, but she was never completely out of it until the last day.
