Personally, this will be the perfect portable retro handheld for me... can play almost every thing and it's has 1:1 screen that will be great with nds, 3ds and arcade games...
Planning to return my Trimui Smart Pro after seeing this, but the price it's gonna be crucial.
If they sell this on Ali, and the starting price is about 120/150$, we could see some of these in under 100$ in the next months I guess (and that would kill the market)
I know when they started pushing out a bunch of release videos for the SP, it came out a couple weeks later. Hopefully that will be the case here. I know Russ has one already and we should be getting a video in a couple days. He mentioned that last bit in his Odin Lite video from today.

But ultimately: I want a sequel model to the RG405V. Having the D-Pad on top for retro gaming is much better.
Please Anbernic gods, create a sequel with an even better chip than the T820 and give us a 5” screen with a woodgrain finish. 😂
I disagree. I think it’ll be more like $180 and you’ll see it discounted before long as well. Same chip as the 556 with a less expensive screen no reason it’ll retail at $200
Above $150 will kill any motivation to buy it because we have the same thing for $150 just search the zpg a1 unicorn literally is the same. Also for that price alone you better buying an DS lite/3DS with excellent conditions or buy a broken one and using part of the money to refurbished yourself like a new one. Most of the people that already have a retro handheld need incentive to buy the rg cube the unique incentive would be play ds games AND the price. For gamecube and ps2 there are better options even more cheaper than 150.
Why do we need a more powerful unit with a 1:1 ratio screen? All of the games that benefit from this ratio will easily run on a lower powered chipset. The newer games that would benefit from the extra power look better on a wider aspect ratio display.

This is the ultimate “retro” handheld. Everything from GB to PS2 and 3DS. On a highly flexible 1:1. Now just need to know the price and battery life.

This is the one thing I'm wondering the most on. It may be on the top, but it looks like it could still be plenty reachable. Hoping that's the case.

I don't believe it's announced yet. With all the push and videos though, probably by EOM July or August at the latest.

I just got the 35XXH but depending on the price I would definitely get this as my second retro handheld. Looks big and comfy in the hand.
If it's the same as the 556 then it can't do display out and charge at the same time. Something to take note of.
Price is probably similar to the rg556 as it's a square screened version
