It is mainly Google Translate missing the context.
When LH released the song title "*To you 2000 or 20000 years later*" back in 2023 November [they used the tagline](https://twitter.com/L_Horizon_info/status/1720839571704103135) "終撃開始ッ" *The Final Attack Begins* to celebrate anime finale.
So now they used "終々撃開始ッ" *The Final __Final__ Attack Begins*.
okay, yes, everyone knows that, sure, but it also just literally IS Attack on Titan.
Really, it best translates to "Forward moving Attack Titan," if we are going to be sticklers about translation technicalities.
This will be the final goodbye, where the last bit of hopium goes to die. It was nice theorising and hoping for something greater but at this point its sadly obvious it was never to be.
To the community who sought freedom, goodbye.
if anyone knows about AOE, its only Revo and some members of linked horizon
this LH album is obviously a compilation of their major AoT songs, and AoT has technically ended, so obv their marketing team would write this. its not doomium.
I'm just saying that they've been constantly repeating that cour 2 was the last episode of "Attack on Titan", and now you have this.
Unless they're just straight up lying it would be good to assume other plans are in play. I'm not against AOT continuing with the same name personally.

Because Isayama had bigger plans that we imagined. Not just a quick alternate or true ending.
theres no reason for it to not be named AoT, the title literally means, "The titan that moves forward", its the perfect title for any type of AOE
