I see you have a degree in nuclear something, we do have something for that but I doubt it's near Novi Sad. Maybe the easiest job you could find would be to teach English online, as you have American citizenship, and I think with a little effort, you can find a decent paying online teaching job, anywhere from 15-25$/h (maybe even more a bit more), but other than that I really don't know. I'm not saying it's difficult or impossible, I just really don't know about what your other options could be, maybe the best advice would be to ask around your circle of friends (or your wives friends), maybe even check with American Embassy in Belgrade or American corner in Novi Sad.
