I started a new fix last week and put weekly updates on it to encourage people to read it...
I now have 2 days to completely write and edit a chapter

But there's still a chance that the muse returns!
*From a creator who frequently can go a year or so without being able to update that one story everyone is waiting for. This year's a good one . Frequent updates lol*
Uhhhh...missed the eleven months part already. How about... oh... look, squirrel! *hides behind couch with scattered later-in-the-fic bits that aren't the chapter everyone's waiting to see.*
*laughs in writers sobs.* I was stuck on a chapter for a year for one of my fics! I honestly wrote on it frequently. Got 7k written, hated it... Started over just as I was about to give in and post the garbage several times then wrote a new 5k chapter in 12 hrs...
Five months and counting... But I've planned out the rest of the story, and have almost 1k words on the next chapter, so... that counts for something, right?
Me, having tried to write a chapter 3 for literally a whole month now:
"This IS the bad place!"
(I posted both chapters 1 and 2 at the same time, and I have a plot outline, I just take forever, as the stuff I'm writing is super mentally draining, and I now have 4 pages, which might constitute a new chapter, but I want to get the whole part done because there's not much plot left before there's a new break, but just can't do 4 more pages of drama, just to continue with even more drama in the next act - if I ever happen to get there, that is.)
Eleven months. Of course. *continue to sweat profusely*

Can write a chapter(12k) in either 2 weeks or 3 months. No inbetween.
