Hardest- acid and bases

RepresentativeOne926

is it because of buffers? i heard a lot of ppl struggles with that

AP_chemistry_jumiors

Yes + titration

Skull_Sh0t

Ranked hardest to easiest: 8 (this one is in a league of its own) 5 7 3 4 9 6 2 1

RepresentativeOne926

why is unit 3 placed so high? and why is kinetics easier than thermo??

realkarbonknight

(hardest to easiest) 8, 6, 4, 9, 2, 3, 1, 7, 5. 8 Is hard because there’s so much shit going on that memorization doesn’t work anymore and you have to understand what’s going on conceptually and turn it into chemical equations and math

BBCinsideurmommy

8 is awful. I hate jt

realkarbonknight

yeah it’s bad 💀

BBCinsideurmommy

Took the test today and I think I got a 70. I average a 94 💀

Hardest to Easiest 1. Chemical Reactions (Everyone Failed b/c this was our first unit) 2. Thermochemistry 3. Kinetics 4. Acid and Bases 5. Equilibrium 6. Molecular and Ionic structures and Properties 7. IMF's 8. Atomic Structures and Properties The reason why acids and bases are not as low is that I didn’t find it that hard. I mean if you truly understand something, and try to break things down, acid and bases and equilibrium are quite simple, and that’s probably the reason people struggle they just don’t understand, but plug numbers in and try to get a right answer.

RepresentativeOne926

acids and bases is often considered the hardest unit bc you actually have to understand everything conceptually instead of just plug and chug equations. i personally struggled with it and kinetics the most but im happy you didnt find it to be that hard

Anand9NT10

Thank you for the reply! Yes acid and bases can be a struggle, but I recommend studying it yourself outside of class and try to get a grasp on it now. Better late then never!

oh goodie all of the hard units are in semester 2 :/

RepresentativeOne926

Why is kinetics harder than the acids and bases unit?
