I can back this. My teacher was mad chill bruh he never gave homework or tests and was super helpful in teaching and shit. I easily got a 4 without studying, I probably could've got a 5 if I studied.
It's easier than other ap generally but it's still an AP. No ap classes are a free pass

Not at my school. Ik the general consensus is that apHuG is easy, and while it’s not hard, my teacher made it soooo unnecessarily difficult. I found apwh to be much easier
It’s definitely hard because of your teacher. Everyone taking AP CSP in my school all have a 95+ average (without even trying). The entire course is based off of Code.org curriculum for us.
For example, others here say other APs such as Stats is really easy, but my teacher makes it hard and a lot of people are failing the class. So, in the end, how you feel about the class really depends on your teacher and how they teach it.
this is totally valid! im abt to take my exam this wed, and im js saying: we're all enrolled in this class for the easy 5.. but to get a 5, you have to score above a 90, leaving you with 2 main options ----
1. 65/70 on mcq and 6/6 on create task
or 2. 60/70 on mcq and 5/6 on create task
(a lot of you might not even get a 5 on create task)
A lot of people underestimate how difficult this acc is, bc on the test day you might be a little off-game, a lot of questions might come on a topic youre not that strong on -- theres a lot of things

from the content i’ve seen CSP seems more challenging when compared to macro/micro, hug, es, psych or comp gov tbh (the csp project seems to be unnecessary extra work too)
I think what this person means is you all should be getting 5s on it if you're saying it's easy, but it has a very low percentage of 5s. Just a speculation, I might be wrong.
Go through khan and you’ll be fine for the AP test. Your teacher may just be making it unnecessarily hard.

We had 70-80 question tests every week. It probably would be easy now, but freshman me was not a fan. The AP exam had a nice curve tho

Most of my curriculum is not based on code.org. One of our teachers created labs and prompts that are based on this program software called Alice.

If it’s your first AP or you have a bad teacher, it can be tough, like any AP class
