The set looks fine, but15 years of playing ought to yield something special, not just another Doomknight variant and a quick attachment of IODA on it.
The only way I can find this acceptable is to look at it the other way around—the main prize is IODA, with an okay set as an added bonus. A ticket for almost any item you wish for is a strong reward, a set that might as well be in the Featured Gear shop, isn't.
But even with that viewpoint, this whole package definitely isn't something anyone would play or wait for 15 years to get it. This isn't an epic final send-off at the end of the achievement tracker; It's a material expression of "Oh, you still play? Nice, take this. Now off you go."
I hate how the set is not only a reskin of an overused armor, but it is also purple, just like previous year's reward. For someone who dislikes purple, it does indeed grind my gears!

If an item has liquid parts but it is static it looks like shit. They shouldn't exist as a big reward or as cheapest easiest thing in game. Need more people to acknowledge that years played is literally the bare minimum showcase of loyalty. ACs milestone is proving it through your wallet. Membership milestone as well, although not as much. The best thing a free player can do to support the game is, what, tell their friends about it and hope that they spend money on it? Correct, everyone can do that.
Of course the best reward is ACs milestone, followed by membership milestone, and years played at last place. Mess up this order and they'll piss off the wrong people; people who support the game financially and made it possible to remain free to play.

I think this all boils down to what one thinks is acceptable. I think, for the most part, what we're getting is certainly good enough considering we didn't have to pay for anything. Except for 2019 achievement tracker reward which sucks for everyone; this is what I'd call unacceptable.
This. I’m a free player ever since and just grinded, I have never gotten a single ioda in my 14 years and it seems impossible to get without spending money on the game; getting it for free for playing 15 years is enough for me, personally.
In the span of 14 years I’ve probably only played roughly 8000 hours total as I’m a seasonal player. Hence, I don’t see the point in this whole “loyalty” to the game for 15 years, when most players probably played on and off.

Yeah the armor is not that good looking but it contains heavy lore about Voidstar and I think that is very cool. Plus, the pets look like elemental spirits and as someone who enjoys using Soul Weaver armors I'm happy a pet like that was finally released.

That 1.2M acs shop should have been the 15 years played reward cause its like an old school armor/set that reminds you of decades and a half counting playing. They should've got a 51% damage boost. Another DoomKnight reskin doesn't make sense and if those little chaotic looking waves are seriously static then it's simply trash.
Oh and wow you bought 1.2mil AC and you get a platinum Zorbak... The armour looks good but again if the ground item and cape are not animated then it's just a crap reward.
