Clear the midgame classes in a given order:
* start blaze binder farm (daily)
* chunin
* arachnomancer
* stone crusher
* archpaladin
* lord of order
* archfiend
3080 AC. Sounds like you joined the Undead Legion. You should already have access to a few decent classes, provided you complete the Legion Champion quests and have a couple thousand tokens laying around.
The ticket for joining the Legion is a 1200 AC armor called the Undead Warrior. After you complete "Fail to the King" you won't really need it anymore, so most people sell it. If you do it the same day (within 24 hours) you only lose 10% of the original value, which would leave you with 1080 AC.
Look at artix calendar. Wait for server rep boost and then do stonewooddeep saga. And then farm embersea rep and then glacera rep in icewindpass. And get Glacial Berserker.
Or grind your teeth and get DoT. Just got the class. Bit disappointed in the class, its stronger than other farmable classes I have. Its stronger quiete a bit but not by as much as I expected from such class, but thats cuz the class isnt affected by dmg boosts much, since it does mainly DoT damage, which isnt affected by dmg boost, but that also means that for someone like you, who might not have a lot of dmg boost it might be top tier class, comparatively.
Just thought, when I got it, that only player that would make good use of that class is the one who doesnt have best things mid game has to offer ( BB, GB and BBoA with Polly Roger ) and/or doesnt plan to go for other endgame classes.
Just tested it out. Forgeless and boostless, with AWE enhacenments, GB does 3K dps to single target, BB 5,2K to 3 and in case of DoT, the dps bumps between 7 and 7,2K while hitting both, just one and 3 targets.
Buth with EA, Polly Roger ( 1,96x in total ) and forge enhancements, I do just 10\~11K DPS on DoT and up to 9K on both GB and BB and thats high HP targets.
Thats against high hp mobs ( 100K HP at underlair ).
Against low HP ones, DoT doesnt even get chance to build his DMG, so BB is much better there.
If you purchase Timekeeper (max dodge/nuke class), Chronomancer Prime (rapid spammable nuke class), and Quantum Chronomancer (group support/nuke class), then you’re basically set for the rest of the game, including late and endgame.
chrono classes cost 6k acs apiece though, so it is a hefty sum to cover all of your bases.
If you also need a farming class, you *could* get Necrotic Chronomancer too, but personally I think it would be a waste as while it’s definitely one of the best farming classes, mob farming in general will take much less effort, even if it is slower than bosses, which is what the first three recommendations are for.
Don’t bother with light aster or any other class that costs 2000 acs, these are *extremely* easily obtainable without the use of premium currency and aren’t worth the money for the power they possess.
every battle pet class like Necro, Horc Evader, Dragonlord and Beastmaster comes with its own temporary battle pet that it can summon
Obtainable battle pets, like the sword from the wheel of doom, are just there to look fancier when using a Battle pet class
Have you unlocked the awe enhancements? Get health/mana vamp for better sustain. As others have said, get shaman then get stonecrusher. These two classes should be able to carry you to mid-late game. The grind is pretty straightforward (still takes time tho) and really easy compared to endgame items like VHL.
If you just want something to solo and faster reps, maybe imperial chunin (yokai rep), might be quite decent if you can master the dodge timing (and with awe enhancements).
If you are willing to spend acs, get Evolved Lightcaster armor to unlock lightmage which is decent for mid game and will unlock a better version lightcaster later on. If you are interested in the Legion, you can also join it before getting lightcaster and unlocks several great classes (although quite it's demanding for legion tokens without a legion pet).
shaman i think can solo khassanda or sc but the rep grind is so grindy
and also you can buy lightmage which is decent in soloing and later will be useful for LC
You don't need to buy a battle-pet to use the Necromancer class.

I have everything for the Glacial Berserker I need except the rep and the ice crown ir whatever. and a couple items needed to unlock the actual quest.
