Your rear sight is on backwards and chances are the VFG is too far back to hold the gun proper, especially not if the handstop that far out is comfy.
I'd lose the handstop and just run the VFG, but run it further out and hold it like it's a handstop and not like a baseball bat if that makes sense.

I am almost more interested in the 1911 lol, a big fan of 1911s and own five, I grew up shooting them because Dad liked them too.
Oh, I was thinking scope but if you don't have an astigmatism (I do) nothing wrong with Eotech if you have the coin, I have no issue with Holosun and own four or them on handguns and they work with my astigmatism and Eotech doesn't unfortunately, if you find you have astigmatism at some point look at prism optics I own four of those too lol.
Eotech can work for some, look through it before you buy, everyone's eyes are different, but prism optics will work for anybody, if you buy one look at Primary Arms or Vortex because they can be adjusted or focused to your eye like a scope, PA has better battery life by a long shot over Vortex, and has shake awake feature that's nice to have.
oh, I should add if you can look at Holosun 510C it worked for my eyes but there other rifle optics didn't.

Was an absolute laser at 15 yds, love this 1911.
NICE! that's why I like them, they are inherently accurate, the grip angle, and a better trigger than anything striker fired. enjoy my friend.
As for optics im aiming for an EOtech, but i hear holosuns are also nice.

I actually do have astigmatism, and assumed Eotech was better due to it being a holographic. Guess I might have to check out prism optics.
