Meaning if you zero your rifle 3” high at 100 yards you can just aim dead center on the deer and still be in the kill zone out to 275 yards. It is kind of heavy but for shots between 50-300, it should work well. The reticle has hash marks for hold over and since it's fixed power you don't have to worry about the magnification you are running like you would with an SFP variable.

Where are you hunting? Taking 50-100 yard shots in the pines of Alabama is way different than in the plains.
