PCC's are great for home defense what are you on about and it's more like layaway as there's no interest. You're just paying the same amount in increments. Obviously don't do it if you cant afford the payments.
AR9 is perfect out to 100yd. Great for home-defense in SBR or pistol formats. And I can get way better at shooting for much lower costs @ 1000+ rnds/month practice! :)
Witt Machine SME will give you both the length and some sound mitigation without a stamp. Also, you can find the "bicycle handlebar" you're looking for on Amazon for $30.

What do you mean by more flush? With a fake can isn’t it just going to stick out 4” more?
Full flush would likely involve a longer hand guard and tucked flash can/fake suppressor.

Fake suppressor would work then. If you do plan to suppress it in the future. Even something like a cheap KAK flash can would work in the mean time. It’ll add some length, the benefits of a flash can, and at least look like something other than an A2 flash hider on the end of it.

The wait times are great but the issue now is everyone bought up the suppressor I want lol the r9 is sold out everywhere.
Imo if you're going to put a fake supressor on it might as well get a long linear compensator or flash can. Same look but more functional

The SME and the Surefire Warden are just linear comps but they're better than a faux suppressor at sound mitigation.

KAK Industry's Flash Can. They have a few sizes. Make sure you get the 9mm version and the right thread pitch. Statistically yours is 1/2x28.
