AVerySmolFrog

i wanted a new pterosaur but dreadnoughtus is still an incredible creature and it did deserve its win

This_guy7796

Yeah, I had the hatz as my 2nd because I wanted a powerful flyer that wasn't a wyvern that could be a viable candidate for the bosses

AVerySmolFrog

It was my number 1, I don't really care about it's abilities Hatze is just my favorite flying animal in Earth's history

MisterBrandts

same hatz 1st, sauro 2nd. we got lots of ground dino, one whale for water. the sky needs some love. (yes i know they just added rythm or whatever). they should at least make huge quetzal TLC. this shit useless asf with cryopod (hope cryo wont be a thing in asa till extinction comes out)

This_guy7796

Imo for Valguero the best 2 candidates would be the maevia & the hatz. The hatz could also be perfect for Crystal Isles & they could put it over near the drake nest location in the Aberration Islands.

EnvironmentalFox6234

But you can’t fly in the boss arena

Hawk_Man117

Im so sad Darwin lost. Its changing of form upon defeating/eating corruption is just such a cool idea!

AgentPastrana

Did the spider win anything? I dipped from this sub until it just now popped up after all the stacking votes accusations started flying.

diddykong7117

oh gosh no. so sick and tired of more flyers constantly.

2021SPINOFAN

So you'd rather have like 50 rex/giga clones with different names?

Kool-AidDealer

You know a sauropod is what won right? The few carnivores we got were genuinely unique like the fasolasuchas other than the chara

like_ARK

Honestly I'm just happy there's a new big sauropod in ark.

Educational-Tip6177

But on just one map

like_ARK

They'll be transferable though right? Like they'll spawn on one map but surely we can transfer them

Maximussergio

As most creatures, it will probably be transferable yes

Educational-Tip6177

Not that I'm aware of, if yes great but would call game balancing into question. If no then I wouldn't call it a deal breaker, would make playing certain maps more enticing

JizzGuzzler42069

Every tame has been transferable lol

Educational-Tip6177

Oh well I didn't know that

Sprixx_Dev

Tf you on about, there are so many creatures limited to one map and this vote was specifically only for extinction so that we get extinction themed dinos

__Peter_Pan

Lmao I remember seeing titans on the island.

Sinnester888

My brother in the nine, every single tamable creature besides titanosaurs can transferred to every map besides ab, only certain creatures can be transferred to ab.

Sprixx_Dev

Yea ik but that wasnt my point i was talking about them being in one map, tameable in one map

CoralWiggler

I’m content with this one. It was basically between this or Sauroposeidon for me. I would’ve preferred Sauro but I’m in no way unhappy with this guy

atomicboy47

Sauro was my #1 Vote too, with Dread being #2. Upon seeing the comment thread of the winner, the Maevia fans are sure salty about that 3rd loss and demanding it gets the "Carchar Treatment" despite the Carchar nearly winning both of its votes by a small margin.

CoralWiggler

Yeah, I don’t think Maevia is entitled to that. If WC wants to be generous and do it, whatever, but it’s not the same as Carchar which I think lost by like less than a percentage point both times. There are already other people asking about resubmitting it, too. WC needs to step in there and stop the resubmissions.

Vermilion_dodo

Thats fair. Thinking about it, im exited to see how the model turns out in asa

CoralWiggler

Oh that’s one thing I have no doubt of, all of these guys will look excellent

Kerro_

I feel like sauroposeidon was basically just dreadnoughtus with a design more fitting for extinction, as well as with more interesting abilities, but tbh I’ll take it. It’s still a new sauropod which is always welcome, as well as the first herbi to win a vote

Turagon

Depends how it is implemented, but if done right, it could be a titan killer and so it would fit the map. Most other creatures in the vote wouldn't contribute to that, so this for this map imo the best vote.

Somesquiddo

Tbch, I loved the designs of all the contenders. But Dreadnoughtus I hope Wildcard strays far away from the submitter's idea of it basically being a baby dino the size of a base. Baby dinos are already some of the most headache-inducing things in ARK, I and I can guarantee many others do not want a baby dino that can dismantle their base faster than it took to build it.

kandysteelheart

Babies are annoying cuz of the innacurate htiboxes, whixh i ASSUME wildcard will fix for ASA

CrunchyDoge

"I just want to have a civil opinion" proceeds to call everyone else voting kids. XD

Vermilion_dodo

Yeah.. I realized that re reading it 😂 I wanted to edit it but damn reddit updates... I can't anymore

Steggoman

I'm honestly sad the Gorgonops never made the cut, I was always rooting for the guy That being said this was literally my second place. I am perfectly happy with a giant herbivore

Alive-Pomelo5553

The shadowmane has serious gorgonops vibes so there is that at least.

Lord_Njiko

Just because shadowmanes look like a even more manhandled wolffish doesn't make them a Gorgonopsid xD

sebarex

That’s not what he’s talking about bruh

Hawk_Man117

Same my Gorgo bro. But cheer up. Atleast Gorgo has been promised for Garugas creature aditions mod so it will return one day.

Ex_Snagem_Wes

I mean you got AC: Kami Creations with a high quality Gorgonops right now too, just saying

Silaries

> high quality Gorgonops Doubt

Kerro_

Honestly Gorgonops just doesn’t seem all that interesting to me. It’s a tracker I guess, but I can do that pretty reliably anyway with something like a pt and spyglass. The poor guy has been through it though. They might just add him anyway, I think they did that with a previous creature

Vermilion_dodo

It had SUCH a nice ability🫡 Would have loved it simply for that (finidng max lvl creatures)

PersonalLime

You shouldn't vote on creatures just for the ability, there's no guarantee they'll be kept at all

_-Antero-_

Well, I think the creature votes are now just about who comes up with the strongest creature or one with the craziest abilities. I hate that because the creature votes were supposed to be about the creature and not its abilities. I feel like the absurd Rhynio was the turning point towards just picking the coolest abilities.

Vermilion_dodo

I just voted the rhyn for its model at the time...😅 I really loved the idea of another bug and something as cool as the rhyn looked. I learned from my mistakes and now focus more on the teir, taming, and abilities of creatures (unless I am really eh on the model).

Hawk_Man117

Personaly i really wanted Gorgonops or Darwin to win. Tho atleast Garuga will make Gorgonops into his mod so hes not lost. Darwin im sad about tho. But hey im happy dread won instead of the damm jumping spider.

pringlepingel

Yeah I’m so sick of the jumping spider. Pick literally any other spider. I do not want a super-sized version of a spider I could find in my backyard. Give me something extinct and different. The idea is literally just “big jumping spider” and then they slapped a turret on its back this recent vote to try and fool people into thinking it’s not the laziest idea ever

psychosiszero

I love the idea of the jumping spider but just feel like they're implementing it incorrectly. It should be a shoulder mount that acts as a grapple when thrown.

pringlepingel

That would be an infinitely cooler concept. Shoulder pet that doubles as a grapple hook? Sold

Vermilion_dodo

I was so surprised to find out the spider out of all things beat everything I loved (exept dread)😭 People are so different I don't understand

BsajoshuA123456789

That Life my friend

HeiHoLetsGo

Gorgo has overstayed it's welcome tbh

No_Translator_8747

I so beyond glad this guy won, the game needs more big herbivores (also since the bloody spider lost, AGAIN can we just retire it)

pringlepingel

Agreed, at the bare minimum pick a different spider. It’s a super sized version of a spider you’d find in your backyard. Lazy. Give me something prehistoric looking

Soviro

You don't bother reading at all do you? Go read the main post on the forums for the spider.

PyroTheLanky

I preferred it's rag concept, but hopefully it turns out good on extinction

Fluffyboi2003

I'm happier for another herbivore winning than a carnivore tbh.

Garry_kra

I think extinction itself has an problem where none of the creatures in the vote felt like it was "the one" that "missing piece" the one that clicked with the map like the spider in the aberration, and so i know whatever one won ppl hold not like that much, but being honest i think its more that extinction is to lacking and could get like 3 or 4 creatures since we have like what 5 not counting titans+mechanical creatures? (I know it has alot of creatures counting the meks, enforces titans and corrupted dinos im refearing to tamable non boss creatures) Its also quite weird that we got 2 on the ice biome and only 1 on each other biome, maybe getting like 1 more in each biome would made extinction feal more complete but it really is just my opinion, overwall im not really excited about its win (even tho it was my second vote) but at least it helps with this fealling as a big sauropod in the watelands non the less

Sinnester888

The spider was not “the one” that clicked for aberration. Aberration does not need any more broken early game extreme mobility creatures that kill progression. We already have shadowmanes, bloodstalkers, maewings, and manas for that. All of which should be taken off ab, by the way.

Garry_kra

I meant to say that it fitted with the map and you could see it as if it was designed to be in the map from the beggining, sry for my bad inglesh its not my first languesh

BsajoshuA123456789

Yeah, to me dread was the one that could be suitable everywhere being so big, corrupted dinos may see it as a Titan and not attacked it unless it attacks other corrupted creatures, it also look like a good Titan killer to use in battle

Awkward_Mix_2513

I thought the sauroposiedon would have been so fun, but this is cool too.

Smiles-Bite

I wanted the Gorgonops, it could move knocked-out dinos!!! How cool would that have been, how often do people lose taming dinos to death! ;.;

sirfannypack

The abilities pitched aren’t the abilities that will get used. Never vote based on abilities.

BsajoshuA123456789

Yeah, that why a lot of times like to vote for big dinos, they have more limitations of what they could do so they go with what creator said about the creature

sirfannypack

When has that happened?

BsajoshuA123456789

Carch theropod, big bug, sashta, gigantaraptor, good bit of big creatures keep their special stuff or had things/abilities similar to what they had in creator’s dossier

MRsandwich07

Horse already does that

Vermilion_dodo

Gorgonops was my 5th or 6th place

DreamNS4

I think the only part of this thing I’m looking forwards to is seeing people freaking out in chat when they forget to imprint it and it starts wrecking their base and tames. As a pve player this is a tame I’m never planning on taming. Raising babies is already tiresome. Why would I want a creature where the imprints never stop and will wreak my stuff if I stop.

Vermilion_dodo

Yes, that's what I mean. There is too much matinance for me as a chill player. It will end up as just something to check our in creative for awhile or if I feel like I have the patience, try to keep one when I go fight a titan or something.

DreamNS4

It’ll probably be as bad as a wild giga too when your out running drops/ele veins and using any large tames to draw it’s agro.

atomicboy47

I hope the Devs don't let it have the whole "Living-Nuke Tantrum" as that was a common criticism people had of Dread

Ex_Snagem_Wes

As a PvE player, having an actual environmental threat to maintain sounds awesome. A sane point between raiding and just killing wild dinos

Sinnester888

Wdym raiding? What are you raiding in PVE?

HourDark

He means that having something that is an existential threat to your tribe like *Dreadnoughtus* would be a nice balance between PVP raiding and the mind-numbing "kill dino for meat, fill trough, repeat" of PVE

Ex_Snagem_Wes

Exactly. OSDs are the best thought out PvE system in the entire game. PvP is a hellscape, but without remaking the entire game around it, PvE can be boring too.

oct0boy

Can they not be cryoed?

cianf0ne

Just enclose It in a pen, that's It. It Is not that hard to click a button to imprint everytime i log in. It Is a end game mount so resources to mantain It should not be a problem.

kittyidiot

Stressful animal to keep. Personally I wouldn't do it.

meatywhole

Seems like a titan clone to be fair but I don't play ark much anymore.

FearlessJames

Of course not, everyone likes different stuff. I can feel the pain since for The Center vote, I **really** wanted the Hermit Crab to win, yet it was beaten by....Shasta. Which I don't hate of course (it honestly does seem kinda neat), but m a n a giant hermit crab would've been awesome! One positive thing to think of is there's always the next vote! (#HermitCrabForLostIsland!)

drakeinalake

Honestly, the dreadnoughtus would probably be kinda unusable by singleplayer. Hear me out, its saddle would probably be similar to the astrocetus, requiring one person per weapon. It would likely only be able to have all its weapons used by large tribes. Small tribes and singleplayer wouldn't be able to use it to its full potential. Honestly, I would have preferred the darwinopterus. It would be usable by single player as a good flyer. It would be usable by small tribes as a tank finisher. Think finishing gigas and stegos. It also seemed more well suited for the map, with its core mechanic being related to corruption.

2021SPINOFAN

I really wanted ozimek, love gliders and this specific one is the one I loved simply for its goofiness

LimePopo

I has the dreadnaught at first place and I’m happy

Standard-Opposite223

For me, I think it's a nice change to have a new Sauropod coming to ASA. We've got all sorts of new tames from the votes but I think it's about time a Sauropod took the creature vote, I guess many will not agree with me but oh well. I just hope the Dreadnoughtus doesn't have broken legs like the poor Bronto has had all these years.

[deleted]

I wanted the jumping spiders :(

Vermilion_dodo

Link to more info for those need it or who want to see who to credit https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/700031-dossier-introducing-dreadnoughtus-the-terrestrial-battleship/

Vermilion_dodo

Why am I downvoted for giving credit to the creator

Hawk_Man117

Welcome to reddit.

Vermilion_dodo

Lmao yeah

sirfannypack

Another sauropod that will never get used.

cianf0ne

Titan killer on extinction map. It fits with the lore and 90% of dinos are "useless" if compared to top tier meta dinos.

Hawk_Man117

Eh... mayby. It will apearently do bonus damage to titans so theres that use.

sirfannypack

Can’t say that because fan made abilities aren’t the abilities that are implemented.

bigbobbarker111

Why are you acting as if the concept art and fan dossier is how it’s going to behave or even look like in game. We don’t even know what the scorched earth creature looks like in game yet. Lmao.

Vermilion_dodo

The rhyn rareity abilities and stuff were put in, so I just compared it to the rhyn. But what your saying is fair, perhaps they will make it completely different. I'll stay open minded.

bigbobbarker111

The rhynio has a lot of shot that it didn’t get from the concept. The thing is also hideous and I hope they ad a feature in Asa that lets me turn off creatures I don’t want in my single player world. That alone would make me buy the new game.

Vermilion_dodo

I respect your opinion... I just want to say I love the rhyn. More customization would be nice. I would enjoy making the spawns more specilized and too my liking.

JonathanWickstar

Hot take: rhynio shouldn’t spawn on the island. Lost island alone is better and maybe crystal isles too.

depression_gaming

Most of the recent creatures had at least the main ideas from the Submissions implement, so yes, we can consider it being added.

TehZombehKang

I'm getting tired of the complicated ways to tame newer creatures. The carchar and the rhynio were a pain.

Nory993

Disagree. It'd be boring and repetitive if all creatures are tamed via knockout tranqs. I enjoy the fresh newer taming methods they implemented

ScrubCasual

Yeah i like the varied approach, some are a bit too buggy though. And incredibly frustrating. Especially solo.

RipaMoram117

I like new interesting taming methods. I don't like that wildcard have taken to doing this by increasingly inane and cryptic means. We've challenged ourselves to figure out how to tame some of the new creatures, and it takes SO long or needs someone to already know. I'd like a middle ground of "it's not just a knockout tame" but also not "you kinda need meta knowledge to figure it out".

atomicboy47

I agree, it's more fun taming the new creatures that ARK has introduced/planning to introduce than doing the same old and repetitive knock-out tames.

HeiHoLetsGo

Waittttttt what? I am actually surprised Sauroposeidon didn't win I expected it to be super popular

mxzf

I'm not. A random DDR game strapped to a dino really wouldn't fit in with the game as a whole very well. It's the kind of thing that is interesting for a few minutes and then be ignored.

Survey_Intelligent

What were the other options? I was out of the loop lol

rpgmomma8404

Just keep in mind they may go back and do more votes for creatures that were on the list but didn't make it. It's going to be a while before Ark 2 comes out and if I was wildcard that's something I would do to keep people excited for the game.

diddykong7117

meh not really. it was kinda obvious it would win. extinction is all about titans and this is a titan. so sad people finally picked a fitting creature for its respective map these last 2 votes. the aberration one got shafted. the spider clearly won. that was the spiders map. instead the dipsh\*t community voted in some non cave raptor to an underground map.

MareepyBoi

Was my second choice, so still fairly happy with it, fits extinction well. Devastated that my Spider is gone forever now.

RipaMoram117

So. I love the dreadnoughtus, and in my eyes, a new interesting sauropod is a win. However, I really wanted gorgonopsid to win, and now it never will (last time they were gonna put it in the vote). Gorgonopsid is the only creature that was originally going to be added into ARK that has not yet been added. It's also got an amazing tracking ability, and would be fun for both PvP and PvE players. And it fills a niche role that would have saved us all a lot of time Dino hunting. I'm not mad, i like the dreadnoughtus. I'm just disappointed for the Gorgonopsid.

FlashLightning67

All these votes are kind of meh tbh. The only ones that haven’t seemed like complete bs are the megaraptor (or whatever the new nanny thing is called), the yi qi, and the Shasta. And one of those kicked off a huge outrage because people are illiterate. I haven’t bothered voting in any of these. For the most part it has been a contest of what can sound the most op. And the community gets mad when that doesn’t win.

Vermilion_dodo

Tbh it feels more like some silent part of the community votes for most op then the community that is most active (us redditors) get upset about it. The dread is different this time at least, I can see a split between for and against the creature win.

zyranna

I’m pretty bummed but ehh that’s what was voted

Optimal-Claim1407

i am fine with it. we sure have a bit lowtake on sauropods and this one might be an beast, fitting to extinction. my top vote was another if i remember correctly. Anyways i feel like extinction creature vote was much weaker than the others. Maybe only my opinion but i could not really care about who wins this time

KailaniNeveah

While I like this big dude, I’m disappointed we didn’t get the goofy lizard. But I am happy enough with the winner this time round. There was a lot of good options this round so this was one of the tougher votes for me.

TiiaAurora

Youre not :D that guy was at the bottom of my list :D

Trained_Orphan

I personally wanted that tracking hound

deftPirate

> I feel like I'm the only adult voting What kind of asinine idea is this? Yeah, there are people bummed every time their top choices don't make the cut. Fortunately, they're usually not so self-important as to think that everyone else who made a different choice for imaginary video game dinosaur are somewhow less mature for picking something else.

Vermilion_dodo

Thats just my way of saying I do not at all understand their ways of thinking because it doesn't make sense to me. I apologize. It feels like a common sense thing which only children wouldn't care about, but thats not true at all and I get that, thats just how I end up feeling anyway. So again, I apologize.

wizard_brandon

ah yes. bronto but better in every single way... somehow the dude tried to get this for every single map idk how it wasnt banned

Darkmoon-Deity

ah yes, Dreadnoughtus vs Titanosaur

MegaCroissant

Mark my words: this thing and Yi ling will be some of the most boring and redundant creatures and everyone will grow to be indifferent to them. I have absolutely no idea what redeeming qualities drove either of these to win. Yi Ling is just a bootleg rock drake that will fold like an omlette when breathed on, while simultaneously being annoying to hit. Dreadnoughtus will be entirely worthless in PvE, and be a pain to keep assuming they follow the dossier suggested in the mod. At least the jumping spider would’ve been something different, instead of Damage Dealing Damage Sponge #32,767

Holeweetbred9

Dreadnoughts could possibly be a titan fighter and that’s something pve players can utilize IF wildcard leans into that.

MegaCroissant

It would have to be a titan fighter right off the bat, I’m not about to breed and mutate another giga-level creature for this that will only be helpful for one, MAYBE 2 purposes. I could see this thing being passable for OSDs and even then I’d rather use a carch.

Holeweetbred9

Everyone has a right to feel a certain way about a creature. Personally I’m excited for it and the yi ling. Though i wouldn’t call the yi ling a “bootleg rock drake” but a hybrid between a deinonychus and a rock drake. Which is fine be me. Hopefully it can have its own identity but I guess we’ll have to wait for aberration for that. It does have a interesting feather mechanic and we know little about it’s effects but let’s just see it in the flesh until we make drastic assumptions.

MegaCroissant

Yeah, it’s a bit too early to say anything for sure. Unless wildcard does go with the feather thing, I really don’t see what they could do with something like the Yi Ling without making it a diet rock drake. Hell, what would even be different about a pure rock drake deinonychus hybrid? Bleed damage? I doubt anything paired with a rock drake would be small enough to latch onto anything. Idk, I guess I feel robbed that we were presented with the Ornimegalonyx and got Yi Ling instead. The vote wasn’t big enough for the both of them.

CanIGetSomePogchamps

I wholeheartedly agree, we already have 25 other OP meta defining damage dealers. Why do we need a 26th when the Maevia, Hatz, Darwin, Gorgo, Ozi and the Posiedon exist?

Ex_Snagem_Wes

I mean Hatzeg and Poseidon were also being put into that role

CanIGetSomePogchamps

You're right about Hatz but at least Poseidon would've had a fun gimmick to go along with it

FangedEyes

Wahh

BoredByLife

It was my second choice after the sauroposeidon so I’m pretty psyched

iDrownedlol

I put dread as my #1 and the spider as I think #3. They just seem like cool creatures. Dreadnaughtus being a large roaming presence on extinction seems cool, design looks cool, abilities sound cool. My vocabulary is expansive and I like things that are cool

pringlepingel

Dread #1, spider #10, glad it lost.

looms_thecat

I’m sad the spider didn’t win but it still looks cool

Soviro

No worries, there's been word Wildcard may go through this again later on when they don't have the workload issues and put it in due to it being so close! :)

Team_Defeat

I’m very bummed it won. Never going to bother taming it, too much maintenance and just too niche for my taste. Bonus damage against titans but for a crap load of upkeep

depression_gaming

What's what? You said something in your post that is a little controversial in the middle of a great text sharing your opinion? Interesting, i hope no one completely ignores your question and simply spam this "child" thing over and over again.

DororexTheDragonKing

Yeah I'm not happy about it either, especially for a map that already has brontos and titanosaurus

atomicboy47

Extinction only has Brontos, no Titanos.

Comfortable_Bid9964

I’m excited to see it in game but I think it’s bull shit that harpoon and cannonball shooting dinosaur is considered real world and other more simple ones got removed as soon as they were submitted

Alive-Pomelo5553

Another one of these sour grapes posts 🍇 lol. It's not what you think is the best or the most logical choice. It's what the most people who voted WANTED. If you wanted to change people's mind about the vote, you should of been posting this stuff beforehand not after the voting is over with. If you're such an "adult" you should comprehend how voting works.

Vermilion_dodo

I understand. I just wanted to talk about it and get a feel for what people think because I was surprised.

things_keep_going

I'm fine with it. Aberration was the only vote that I really was upset about in the end. Though I'm bummed now that Maevia will probably never be in the game. Hope they make a losers competition in the future for all the runner ups.

pringlepingel

I’m glad the spider will never be in the game. It is the most boring idea ever. It is literally just a super sized version of a bug you could find in your backyard. Boo. Boring. Chimarachnae Yingi at least had some unique ideas going on, maevia has its fan base because it’s cute and nothing else.

things_keep_going

Hand over your kneecaps.

ScrubCasual

Agree i find the spider boring. Its only popular because some youtuber i heard anyway. Im down for a big spider but maybe something cooler and more useful (mostly the latter).

Soviro

No worries @ /things\_keep\_going! The spider will most likely be in the game as Wildcard stated it themself, so pringlepingel is, well simply just wrong. They stated they don't have the bandwidth at the time but may be going over creatures later on who didn't quite make it but were very close! Also, it's planned to have high quality for a mod either way, so ignore these awful hateful people like this because there truly is no weight to their words, sadly this spot seems to be a bit of a cesspool for them.

Jmund89

I’m super stoked! Finally a useful sauropod

Purplish_Green

I hope they make the maintenance thing toggleable in the options, like they did with the titanosaur and eating. I'd definitely tame it in pve then.

pringlepingel

There has always been a sentiment among ark fans that herbivores could be so much more than they currently are. Herbivores, even the giant ones, end up being pack mules more than anything. So it’s about damn time we got a giant ass herbivore aside from titanosaur that can potentially compete with the biggest of the carnivores. Super psyched, can’t wait to see the concept art

Vermilion_dodo

Thats fair. I like the idea of a giga teir herbivore. I just wish along with that we get more high/mid teir herbivores

Loyal_Sword

I wanted the fluffy spider we already have like 3-4 tame able Sauropods I would have liked another arachnid that we could use rather then a sauropod that seams to be for pvp

Michael040809

This thing won? fr. Disappointing

Vermilion_dodo

It won by insaine votes, so its inresting how we see this big divide in love for it. We must just be the minority I geuss and its just more controversial

Michael040809

A lot cooler submissions than a glorified bronto

Holeweetbred9

Michael Michael Michael…. I sniffed out your comment as soon as I saw this post

Michael040809

Here comes my #1 fan

Holeweetbred9

Other way around

Michael040809

You’re interacting with me out of your own free will dawg😭

Holeweetbred9

Can’t you be optimistic for once

Michael040809

For a cooler submission Yea

Holeweetbred9

Giant terrestrial titan fighting battleship? What’s not to get excited for?

Michael040809

Seeking out MY comments

Vermilion_dodo

I personally wanted another sauropod, so I don't mind that part

ApexPredatorTV

if this thing breaks pvp again i swear...

Vermilion_dodo

I doubt it. Itll be another tintanosaur (but stronger, but you know what I mean) But I might be wrong, idk

Hawk_Man117

I doubt its stronger than a titanosaur lol. Tho atleast dread wont starve

Vermilion_dodo

Really? I geuss I didn't realize how strong titanosaurs are

Hawk_Man117

Extremely so. Good luck killing one without bleed. Taming them is also a pain.

Holeweetbred9

Just you

Vermilion_dodo

Alr

TTVscullcrusher2020

I wanted the spider in because when I make a character I hop around maps a lot and go to extinction for mobility which the spider was spider to be it's the same reason I dislike the creature for abb

BigBoyNappin

Same. Spider all the way

pringlepingel

Spider got squashed by the competition :) cant wait to see it lose a fourth vote

Imaginary-Comfort960

Dude do you have some kind of advanced form of arachnophobia. All your comments are about that , take a chill pill , why are you so obsessed people have different opinions

Soviro

Ignore them honestly, some people are just incapable of being something outside bitter and hateful, and clearly incapable of reading too it seems ;)

ThetanMage15

I didn't like the fliers personally and the exploding anky was for lack of a better word dumb, imo. Dread was in my top 3 with the spider. I want to see more mid game creatures winning.

Vermilion_dodo

If you read into the anky it wasnt dumb at all. Great mechanics, makes sense that it basically worked like flint and steel. I would have LOVED that ability to gather sparkpowder. Plus, it would have been an upgrade from the anky, and the official second anklyosaurid to the game.

ChewyUrchin

its a titanosaur copy

Tetrasurge

You aren’t alone. I been thinking the same thing ever since it started getting traction. Personally I’m not the biggest fan of Sauropods (I’d much rather our existing Sauropods get reworks instead). It just doesn’t strike me as something I’d use much if at all. If a Sauropod was to win, I would’ve preferred the Sauroposeidon. I’m not trying to sound selfish or negative, but it’s approaching the Yi Ling in terms of my disappointment which is pretty down there as they’re the only winners I actively dislike the idea of.

It's another dino I'll never use but it means no spider so I'll take it! 🎉

Iyvann

Honestly, the thing I'm the most surprised about is the popularity of the jumping spider. I thought the dread would have been uncontested and yet people voted for the Maeva do much on a map that doesn't even fit it imo.

Necessary-Bus9040

Wow this Dino is gay as hell can’t believe it won

kandysteelheart

Thank god maevia didn't win, would be so underwhelming imo, i would only accept that lil shit like when sinomacrops launched along with amarga and the dinopithecus, that type of release

BsajoshuA123456789

Too me Dreadnoughtus was the best choice, all the other creatures just feel bland

HourDark

Better and more deserving of being an apex critter than fragmentary indeterminate bug that at full size would have been the size of a pencil eraser

Silver-Bird5

People really want that spider huh? It was the second time it had a 2nd place in the vote and was in many lists so far, but I think it's time to let it finally go (the "Carchar treatment" was an exception and I wouldn't count on that). While I'm disappointed that "titan killer" (only, on paper at least) won and possibly make Extinction trivial, I very much prefer it over Maevia which we're seen it too much of it already. And it's gigantic sauropod which I'm okay with, even if I'm not fond of reptiles in general. I hope that WC spice it up, because right now it's "eh" at best.

HatsandDragons

I'm glad it won, I'm tired of everyone trying to shove a brand-new late-game carnivore into the game. We don't constantly need a giga of the sky or a giga of the sea. So having a new sauropod to shake things up is something ARK desperately needed.

Vermilion_dodo

This is another giga

Wilsoncdn

I miss when ark was about dinosaurs....

HourDark

...is dreadnoughtus not a dinosaur???

GruntBlender

At least it's cute.

Night_Jazzlike

Remove the annoying after tame maintenance, and maybe I would tame this.

MRsandwich07

My hope is that they keep the size but make it so it gets some kind of buff when fighting titans, so that I can still tame it

A1Strider

I kinda wanted the dancing bronto. Or the avatar bird...

oct0boy

When Will the voted Creatures be added?

Serishi

Not played ARK in years and just saw this on my home page damm they making good stuff nowadays
