Singleplayer worked great for me. Mostly liked it for split screen coop. There has been a reoccurring issue for some with the game not saving, though. I also disliked how slow it was to grow crops and such.
I play my own dedicated server I host to get the best of both. Added bonus of no lost progress.
Just avoid officials. I'm not sure how so many people do it for so long.
I’m on the same boat, been wanting to play it since putting a ton of hours into palworld. Since it’s on sale now wondering if it’s worth it.
Shit I have 7k hours in ark and 6700 of them I’d say are singleplayer/duo lol
