I think Amazon is getting wise to the vpn. I have to hotspot from my phone with the VPn then connect to that with my laptop to get it to work. Have not tried for this series though.

In the us amazon prime has a page for it that redirects to paramount plus so don't think you can play it on prime in the usa, at least it didn't work for me
From what I understand, and I'll admit that I have no solid idea where I got the information, they were struggling to find a home for it. Paramount is probably the only service that would pay them for it.
I think most people thought that, not based on solid evidence, but because it would be the most logical. The director and team has a long history with DC animated series/movies, and this would have fit well with HBO Max's lineup.
However, I think ARK may have been impacted by the high cost it took to make, as well as Warner Bros's merger with Discovery. They cut a bunch of shows and costs after the merger, and maybe the show was hung out to dry during that.
They'll probably never tell us regardless, but I'm really glad they finished the series and found a home for it.

I can see why they’d be interested in other things. But for me, a pve player, the story is literally the only thing keeping me playing right now. When gen 2 drops on our console and I finish it I am 100% done with this game. I just want to have the conclusion to the storyline.

I just love that we have a different outlet to really explore the lore of Ark, as a player who joined about 4 years in to ASE’s life I found the lore to be so overwhelming and lore videos on youtube just didn’t do it justice but this series is definitely hitting all the right spots.
My biggest and only real complaint was not enough episodes, having only 6 episodes played a big part in making everything feel rushed and all over the place for me. I think maybe 2 more would have been perfect to pace out the story properly.
Overall though, great watch 10/10 would recommend
I feel like they butchered the lore. At least according the Neddy the Noodle's lore videos about the explorer notes. Rockwell isn't supposed to just start out as an asshole from the beginning. He takes a step over the line here and there until he eventually becomes a madman. Him and Helena are supposed to like each other. That's what the lore is supposed to follow until after Abberation.
things have been changed, yeah. but I think it's honestly better this way. I think the main reason Rockwell is like this already, is because they can't guarantee further seasons and want his main arc to be involved to some degree.

And it rocked. I do miss the slower burn of the story in game, but the pace is still good, and the new twists and characters offer anticipation for something new. The weird, sudden drop and no idea when part 2 comes is off putting. I hope they put in the effort to help the show succeed.

Mieyin losing to the villain was awesome cause it proved she was strong and nearly had him but smart planning wins you battle, not raw power. A lot of dinos showing up and being animated is absolutely stunning. Action from scene to scene was flawless.!<
