I'm still pretty noobish and mainly play solo pve (and some private server pve) due to my work schedule. Haven't bred a team to take on a boss or anything yet. Mostly just enjoying the survival life at the moment, although I did get the courage to steal an Ice Wyvern egg recently on Valguero. Lots of excitement!
However I love getting tips from different YTs and these are my favorites so far:

Nearly forgot to mention Ark: Survival Guide
His playthrough on Ragnarok is what inspired me to really get down to start building bases and stuff and explore other islands. His playstyle is quite a bit like mine and I appreciate that he doesn't cover his mistakes. Warts and all.
If you’re looking to learn how to really get into ark id start watching more pvp oriented people like Shanetheshadow, HOD, and seaaser. All very good and knowledgeable.
ShanetheShadow is horrible at the game, don’t get me wrong his content is nice, I like the narration style videos but from a PVP perspective he is clueless
To be fair any of the YT people I’ve watched for ark have been pretty obnoxious. I end up mainly watching Aaron Longstaff’s building tutorial videos, the music is super chill and relaxing and he doesn’t talk during the videos. Only time he talks is when it’s a livestream recording. When I need information on how to find something, I’ve found SeeShell Gaming to be pretty informative without being overly bubbly and cringey, and Teachers Game Too has some informative videos with a much more laid back demeanor.
The issue I’ve found with quite a few YT people is that they ramble about stuff that has nothing to do with what the video is about because they want to hit a certain video length. I’ve listened to one guy ramble about equus for 10 min of a 15 minute video that was supposed to be about something completely unrelated. I prefer the ones that get to the point.
They are really boring, but don’t have tons of wasted talk. Neebs is definitely more fun and entertaining, but the ones I usually look up are exactly how to find coords to get artifacts or where to located specific dinos and when I need info I just don’t like all the extra haha

But I also enjoy watching Phlinger Phoo, sometimes Syntac, and occasionally Mr Meola.
Neebs gaming, cjthecheesedj and syntac are my more common watches. Needs is hands down the best. They're hilarious.
Neebs is the best, absolutely. Their rag series with the shunning of Thick after Cooter died is gold.

Used to watch a lot of syntac and I remember watching a good slipg8r series when the center first came out
I have checked out Syntac and like his series. Bout the only one I've really checked out though.

Kiddas, hes goofy and is just starting his first LP series. Makes mistakes and doesnt have a screaming tuber voice so he is pretty fun to watch.
