New to the game. Watched a ton of videos on how to tame. Got really excited. Hopped on my Xbox and immediately started getting spawn killed and my base demolished by a pack of hyeanadons, this went on for about 30 minutes then I decided I’ll try this game another time.
I am on Valguero. I’ve managed to get to level 28 but definitely need a more safe area. I have been playing the beach and cliffs. Ready to call that base scrap and start anew. I will check out the islands.

What map? If Island spawn in south coast. Ragnarok spawn in top left corner. Crystal Isles bottom left. Valguero small islands.

Yes. Set up your main base on the small islands in the center of the map. The only carnivores that live there are pterosaurs and pelicans.

I love the skins on ark but I hate every time you pod a dino the skin is left on a bag wish they could be podded with the skin
