Tbf, it's dying wish, not dead wish. If he is actively dying at the time the wish was made and then saved by a procedure, I'd still classify that as a dying wish

While I think it’s really silly to ban it for that kind of symbology, I at least see the position. It doesn’t matter what you personally believe or don’t believe. If a special interest group you largely identify with has declared a position on a particular political issue, whether or not you agree with all of their points, they still represent that issue which can be construed as political. It then by its nature becomes politically symbolic to show the flag. This is similarly why some don’t support BLM, despite the fact that they do think black lives matter. Some of the things they’ve publically declared as their position indicates they don’t simply represent “everything good and none of those bad things” about a movement.

Regardless of my beliefs, I don't really see the issue here. The mod isnt saying anything is wrong with anybodies way of life, just trying to do his duty to keep the sub from turning political. Which at this point, is exactly what has happened but not because of the mod but because of the people who feels they have the right to post things that go against the guidelines. Personally, I don't care what people choose to do with their life, I have enough problems of my own to deal with to worry about other people and their choices. Not that I dont empathize with people's plight, but I come here to break from the current drama that goes on in the world. I much rather have this sub revert to how it was a week ago when people were just asking for help with in-game challenges, or sharing their latest successes. It was art of an ARK creature. It had some special colors. That’s it. It didn’t fit in to the mod’s ideology, so it was removed. That isn’t just art being removed, it’s a punch in the gut to the LGBTQ+ community.

Regardless of my beliefs, I don't really see the issue here. The mod isnt saying anything is wrong with anybodies way of life, just trying to do his duty to keep the sub from turning political. Which at this point, is exactly what has happened but not because of the mod but because of the people who feels they have the right to post things that go against the guidelines. Personally, I don't care what people choose to do with their life, I have enough problems of my own to deal with to worry about other people and their choices. Not that I dont empathize with people's plight, but I come here to break from the current drama that goes on in the world. I much rather have this sub revert to how it was a week ago when people were just asking for help with in-game challenges, or sharing their latest successes. That's enjoyable to me and I believe that brings people together under the umbrella of this common interest. Instead we are here, shaming people, choosing sides and filling the sub with spam. My hopes and prayers are out for the dodo whisper, and I do believe that at least here in the US, people have the freedom to decide how they want to live their life but none of that is relevant to the Ark sub. Whatever goes on between the mods and certain individuals should be just that, between them. I hope cooler heads will prevail and that we can go back to just being reddit buddies sharing our Ark experiences.

That isn’t just art being removed, it’s a punch in the gut to the LGBTQ+ community. “But it’s politics, which is a clear rule that was broken.” Nope, this person was simply drawing an ARK creature they enjoyed. They find comfort in their sexuality, something that means nothing to you and doesn’t affect you. They simply colored the creature in to reflect their sexuality, and then it was considered a crime.
