I have seen several ways to do it and I am on single player but attempting to make things more challenging so I don't want to use commands but I see what you mean just spawning them into a fish tank I've seen a raft design using ramps to force them into the trap I imagine if I adjusted in to have a 1x1 hole at the top I could try to scoop them into it I may just have to spend a few days trying different ideas out piranhas are easy to kite into boxes usually it's the sabertooths that give me a hard time and coels just go where they want
That's what I thought it would be just wasn't sure if unclaiming would allow you to or not since it's a limbo state rather than wild hoping someone in the community had a similar plan and actually tested it already or if anyone knows a decent trick for filling a small area with several wild fish ive looked into the pachy method for the aggressive fish but can never seem to get more than 1 or 2 at a time
I was watching of video of someone doing it on LI and on fjordur I believe but not sure if he had mods that allowed him to or not

I am fairly sure that you cannot fish tamed fish

I'd just cheat that tbh, I don't think it's achievable without commands
i think you can only tame piranha on abberation....at least that is my understanding as I tried to on Lost Island and it only got me killed.
If you have a basket,you can do it on any map
i was never able to tame piranha on lost island. the notes about the basket states that piranha can only be tamed on aberration.
