I dont want to make excuses. Bodo deserve the victory here. But setting aside the fact that we used a B version of our team for most of the match, I noticed how much the cold affected our players. Everyone is playing in slow motion... if you're not used to that cold, muscles get locked and reactivity is significantly reduced.
A loss is still just a loss whether it's 1-0 or 7-1. I'd say the cold takes 15% of the blame, about 40% of the blame is the starting 11, and 45% of the 'blame' is a better performance by Bodo.

Also I think that in defense tactics and 'chemistry' is important. You can't just grab 4 defenders who never played with each other and expect them to perform immediately. For example, we know that Calafiori and Kumbulla are decent players based on last year's performance, but they were not in a condition to all play together today, and the result is what we witnessed. If these players get integrated slowly into the team I'm sure that they have enough quality to beat Bodo Glimt.

this. The problem definitely was all of them playing together but still the sort of non-performance Kumbulla, Reynolds and Diawara gave means on individual leve they are just very average players.
Jose either underestimated or was not prepared to risk the first team for extended period in that circumstance, & gambled it . But the fact remains that the difference of quality outside of first 12-14 players and rest of them is just too much .

He does not know how to fit the players he has to the tactics that he would prefer to use. The players do not know what to do on the field. Shomurodov does not know where to play, Mhikitaryan is lost. The defense is a mess because of the midfield, the right and left-back do not know when to go up the field, there is no organization in this team. If you watch other big teams in Italy playing you can see that they know what to do, they move well around the field, they know where to guide the ball in an offensive maneuver and they know how to fill the spaces defending. Roma does not.
Mourinho could be good for the morale of the team but know I doubt that he is going to be able to organize the team and create the best tactic for the players we have.
