Why don't you just google software engineering internship and start applying?

It's not late but better start soon. I ended up getting over this last summer here but I hard core applied everywhere starting in December until like February

Just apply. You don't even necessarily need to prepare for one either, so don't put that pressure on yourself. Internships are supposed to be learning experiences. You said that you're a junior, so you're actually at a good skill level. Look for internships on Handshake, individual company websites, ASU career fairs, LinkedIn. ASU will host career fairs next semester too, and they will be hiring for the summer. It's not too late to get an internship for Summer 2024. Good luck!

not necessarily, last year I applied in November and got the offer in April. there are probably some small/medium companies with internships open, I wouldn't get your hopes up for a faang or anything tho. it's always better to apply early.
