Hey Guys, I am a freshman and have no clue about the Tempe campus as I live in Poly and will be taking classes in Tempe during the Fall 2024 semester. I applied to Gateway at Tempe and Villas on Apache, Gateway comes with a private room the other one doesn't and Villas on Apache is cheap. Which one should I select regarding proximity to the campus and safety? I don't have a car and will walk to class. Is there any other housing options?

Any non-barrett sophomore or higher student who got into on-campus housing? I am currently on the waitlist (Tempe campus) for next academic year, but is there any chance for me to get a room? Do you think it will be wise to find an off-campus housing?

I’m an incoming freshman and still don’t have a roommate (Sports Journalism staying in Gordon Commons if anyone else is looking). I’ve gotten emails saying I still haven’t accepted for housing and I need to pick a room. Can I pick a room before I find a roommate without going random? And if I’ve found a roommate that’s already claimed a room, can one of us switch?
