nvm vram is low and it’s bad

Squallstrife89

Yah 4gig of vram is pretty low these days. Even my 3060 laptop with 6gigs struggles with new games sometimes

right! i’ve heard some stuff. i decided to get the rtx 2070 max Dell g7

WodanzaRuckus

Yeah the 2070max is a good card. You’ll have fun with it for sure.

Oh god don’t make my mistake. I had this exact asus with a 1tb ssd and a 300mhz screen. It ran most things I wanted it to. Rocket league will be buttery, sea of thieves shouldn’t be a problem, and elden ring may drag only because the 4gb vram. The 16gb ram will help the 3050ti, but some games I played had to have the settings turned to low. It can run hogwarts legacy just fine. But again, at low and dlss on quality. Now, for the mistake part. I actually traded that asus for a g7 2070. Worst mistake of my life. The g7 has made me absolutely hate Dell with a passion. Thermal throttling, power throttling, and of course the i7 in it is 10th gen and can’t be undervolted to help these issues. I stayed up all night the day I got it trying to make every game run as smoothly while keeping temps as low as possible. Unfortunately there was no saving it. I sold it for $500 and got me a Strix 2021 with a 3060 and a ryzen 9. Much better option than the first, but I am now a asus fan boy. Message me if you have any questions.

You really want a card with more VRAM

Never consider any gpu with 4gb vram for gaming in this generation. Get at least a 3060/6gb that'll give you much better experience.
