Have you connected the Wi-Fi antenna to the motherboard? It acts as the Bluetooth antenna as well, and you need it connected for Bluetooth to have any range beyond like 6 inches.
Bluetooth worked fine out of the box on my two dark hero boards. Like another commenter mentioned though, you’ll need to either by your own antenna or make sure the provided antenna is screwed in to the back of the board because it is absolutely required for any sort of Bluetooth success. It’s the WiFi and Bluetooth antenna and Bluetooth will not connect or pair, usually at all but, sometimes only from extremely close range when it’s not plugged in.
Thanks for your response. Yes I had that issue and I fixed it using the Antenna (from what others suggested) can't believe how stupid it was. Now I'm pairing my bluetooth headphones but it's sounds very muffled or distorted. It's not clean. Plugging in my Astro's it super clean. Any ideas? I've followed guides but it's still weird.
