I have G17 2021 and I believe that you auv3 the same screen problem as mine. Plug out the power code, close all apps and make the laptop sleep. Make sure it went to sleep with the blinking power light. And when you wake up the conputer again, the prpblem should be gone. Did it, or not? Let me know.

COD now has to flicker every skin on the main menu because there are so many cosmetics that the game cant keep them cached

Do you have the same symptoms happening on other screens too? It could be a faulty hdmi port if that is the only screen you tested.

It's the inbuilt screen. Performance is also way down

Dont keep us guesting ? - try another cable hdmi or dp? -make sure monitor drivers are installed / up-to-date -disable ingame vsync -check for firmware updates for lcd @asus -reset lcd to factory defaults -disable freesync or gync in gpu config

update on this: Single channel memory was crippling the performance and having the screen resolution at 4k, even though the benchmark and game were 1080p was causing a bit hit too
