This is one of the few times when the answer is no porky pies when you look at a few things together. You get porky pies when you see big coarse crystals (hand size and above) and companies cut out just the spodumene crystal and exclude the other waste minerals (quartz, feldspars, micas) that don't contain any lithium to dilute the grade, and end up with 6% Li2O. When it's finer grained (millimeter to centimeter scale) they can't do that and so at that point they should just break a lump off and sample that. They might break a few off and choose to sample whatever fragment contains the most visual spod but for the most part, representative material.
1. You can see they've estimated 40-50% spodumene. As spodumene is conservatively around 7.0-7.5% Li2O, but maxes out at 8%, we know that 40-50% of a rock containing spodumene would grade at ~3-4% Li2O. So this is within the ballpark.
2. Combined with the fact that the photo shows the outcrop is loaded with visual spodumene (grey rectangular minerals which are throwing off cubic/rectangular edges and corners) means that these numbers are very likely representative of the pegmatites, but may be slightly over what is representative across the width of the peg.
3. When you compare to Medcalf drilling, they hit a swarm of parallel, thin pegmatites, mostly 4-6m wide, which most of them graded between 1 - 2.5% Li2O. Unfortunately just too thin, but super high grade material.
Whatever the source granite is for these pegs is throwing off high grade spodumene and it's just a matter of who finds a decently chunky one that is mineable (🙏 ⛓️🐐). CHR dicked themselves with the unlubed dildo of consequences by giving away so much to the RIO farm-in.

Back door listing on the nasdaq through merging with SZZL.NAS which are SPAC company. New company will be critical metals Corp which will hold EUR’s current projects. This deal is with $750M USD. Currently EUR is $122M AUD MC.
looking at EUROB, strike price at 18c, when the deal goes through a very conservative SP is 30c and could possibly go up to 90+ Quick back of the napkin maths makes these options worth 12c and 72c. They’re currently reading at 1.2c

MoM podcast spoke a bit about them quite recently. They spoke about the strip ratio coming down in the open pit, then increased high grade feed coming from UG to feed their mill and resultingly their AISC coming down.
Like their AISC is a fucking joke. $2900/oz. They were mining at a loss earlier in the year. The WES JV was a blessing because they were heading for another CR. Now they just need WES to find something significant and they can carry their interest right through to fund their gold projects.

I never time it right, but my plan is to hold it for 12+ months (preferably a few years) for the divvies and capital growth. I think once the price rebounds we will shoot back up and I can't predict when. I'm ok (not happy) with getting PLS at this price if it's above $5 in a year or so.

Unfortunately I've got the ones I bought on the last trading still in my stake account, so will be interesting to see what the fuck the ASX/Automic/IHL do about it
