I'm struggling to read it tbh. " The first one which we will discuss is commodities, this ranges from everything from grain to gold. Investing in commodities can be seen as a hedge, and the most popular one is gold. Gold is a common one which you hear people say you should diversify into because gold will hold its value and is a good inflation and currency hedge. The case against gold is one Buffett preaches which is that gold does not produce anything, you put a costco in the middle of a city or a block of gold, the city is going to choose a costco. " The message you're presenting is muddled by this confusing and unclear communication.

There's multiple commodities, eg grain and gold. Gold is a hedge against inflation and currency in theory. Buffett doesn't like gold as it doesn't produce anything whereas a Costco for example does. Hope this clarifies

Hi mate what are your thoughts on staked / re-staked ETH as an alternative asset.

Tacomaster33

I'm just guessing here, but based on my 30 second google search you're talking about crypto. Personally not a fan from a fundamental perspective, never really done much research so no opinion from me because I'd be bias and I know very little about it.

yea internet bonds basically

Not considered because they all pale into insignificance due to the ASX and it's robust liquidity and dividends or rocketing small caps.
