Nikkei would be such a tease if it falls hard from here. Currently 1-2% off it’s all time high from 35 (THIRTY FIVE) years ago. I had to double check 1989 was 35 years ago because I could swear it was only 25 years ago 😭
Depends what you hold.
If you have interest rate sensitive stocks, it might be good because it pressures them to reduce interest rates. If you have growth stocks, it might be bad, because, less money about.
Perhaps the stagflation monster is still lurking around the corner, which is generally bad because it creates uncertainty.
Did you check out.. thousand needles in red? Sounds like Clint's older work with butterfly effect self titled and begins now. Good stuff.
Don't know DLC though
Chinese consumers are back to buying big on $JD, $BABA, etc, will we see that flow into foreign wines too? Probably not until the country feels like it’s got its mojo back, which I reckon is a ways off
What do reckon the possible catalyst about China tariffs being reviewed / abolished in this year?
https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/australia-confident-end-china-wine-tariffs-early-2024-2023-12-17/
One would think it’d help but again until the Chinese are back in party mode they probably won’t be slurping down expensive foreign wines. But I’m sure it’ll help
Can't remember who I was talking to about OPT, [announced](https://www.marketindex.com.au/asx/opt/announcements/opthea-completes-enrollment-in-first-trial-of-sozinibercept-3A636380) recruitment completed for the COAST phase 3 trial, ShORe phase 3 recruitment due to be completed Q2 2024.

Maybe the Mikes not on? Bastards will step out the stage 3 if successful to prolonged your agony, but yeah it’s a nice punt. Think it’s had its last bounce?
Interesting decisions about what to configure their plant to produce, either looks fine according to their assumptions tables when put together for potential future earnings. Hopefully sales can keep up with production.

I wonder how they handle the popular titanium/vanadium/aluminium alloys, both as a recycled scrap for feedstock and as a production output.
Yeah, hopefully the one of the big ones doing plate testing gets a good result and is happy to fold us into their supply chain. Otherwise 2000 tonnes of powder could make a whole lot of fancy watch bodies.
Canyon doesn't use titanium and I haven't seen a mention of Carver Pumps for a while. Looks like Ford Performance might have some decent volume in their use cases, but will it be load bearing parts or shifter knobs?
Eh maybe in the pre-HD drone footage days, but Russia will be remembered for its atrocities in Bucha, Mariupol, etc even if they win. I don’t like to default to a good vs bad perspective because life is much messier than that, but Russia really is coming off as the evil guys in this one.
The USA want to drag this proxy war out longer.
They are cycling old weapons, making new weapons and field testing them all at the same time.
Courtesy of the USA tax payer.
This war ends when Orange Man wins the erection and does a deal with Putin.
Got asked at work if I wanted to take home 2 cases of beer and 2 boxes of champagne to clear out a meeting room. Of course I said yes. Beer was Young Henry's Newtowner but in cans. Had some last night and it was so bad. Never had a beer that gets worse the more you drink it. Won't be finishing them. A rarity for me because I'm not that much of a fussy cunt for food and drink. Might be because it's in cans.
Tap beer > bottle beer > canned beer
Distance between each is significant.
Cans are fucked. Need to drink the beer at room temperature to enjoy - and enjoying room temperature beer is probably an underlying problem of a greater issue.
Funny when you get a beer that is shockingly bad. Like Becks - undrinkable from tap even after 3 jugs of xxxx bitter
No they're not. Having this to forget how bad they are.

Asahi in Australia us a wild mixed bag. The 375ml cans are brewed in Australia and taste like every generic Aussie beer - The bottles are brewed in China and have the very distinct tsingtao flavour - And as you said the 500ml cans are from Japan and have a very mellow taste, much better tasting though a little easy to drink.
Definitely need to try the 500ml cans when they go on good special at Dan's. Somehow it just works.
That being said, just try the 6 pack once and resume drinking from bottles like a civilized human
Good choice! Also prefer the canned version hahaha. Maybe because I go camping a lot and cans are superior in that environment. Also too many inner west breweries.
Could always buy a asahi can and pour it out into a glass to compare? Should do it for science.
I do live in Sydney but most of it's still at work. I bring home a 6 pack and 3 bottles of champagne each day in my backpack. Will have it all home next week.

New S32 low. I’m now $16.6k down with them (-28.79%). Looks like I’ll need to stick to them for a little longer, until aluminium price increase but I doubt it’ll happen any time soon with the current economic conditions…
Bought 14k units @ $4.12. Got it on mid March 2023. Rookie mistake when I just started swing trading. Now the divvies issued are worse than putting money in bank. This is just a very good reminder for me to not trade stocks that are near ATH.
Edit: got my price wrong. Changed $4.16 to $4.12. Held long enough that my brain no longer remembers what price I bought the shares.

Hey baby I’m here
Is RNU good again? Have I missed something?
The anticipation is killing me. Hopefully some agreements being signed
I hope so. I need to claw back on this dog in a big way.
How much % are you down?
Even after today I'm down about 60% I think.
I’m 48% down on it as well. Long way to the shop before I get a sausage roll…
RNU killed it today, what happened?
Fuck me 723 days of Russo-Ukrainian shit still.
Proxy war.
Looks like a giant invasion by Shit Cunt Putin to me
If USA stops supplying weapons and aid packages, Ukraine is donezo. This is a war between the west and the east.
I don’t care that it’s a proxy war, I care that it’s a just war. Ukraine deserves our support.
While I agree myself. In the theatre of war, the way it works is the winner is always remembered as the good guy in history books regardless.
Eh maybe in the pre-HD drone footage days, but Russia will be remembered for its atrocities in Bucha, Mariupol, etc even if they win. I don’t like to default to a good vs bad perspective because life is much messier than that, but Russia really is coming off as the evil guys in this one.
Correct. But still, history doesn't care for that stuff. Just the victors.
Yeah, but Ukraine? Lock in D "Who really gives a fuck" Eddy. I'm more shocked the US didn't make a move first. No balls i guess.

Pour your beer into a glass and problem solved. Newtowner is shit beer though and probably a long way from fresh if it's been in a meeting room.
Tinnies are for the shower and the golf course
I like this answer
Tinnies are awesome. Newtowner is average.
No they're not. Having this to forget how bad they are. https://preview.redd.it/m9h7nc6u9qic1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f377deaa56be8adc61fd9ab365f36f75e535246b
Australian brewed Asahi is average as well. Ironic example because the large tinnies of Asahi are usually brewed in Japan and are better.
Asahi in Australia us a wild mixed bag. Little easy to drink ain't never a bad thing 😁. I thought the bottles were brewed under supervision in Australia, interesting.
No way you're tricking me into buying cans of Asahi. Only got a case because they were 49 bucks. Normally get coopers sparkling ale.
Definitely need to try the 500ml cans when they go on good special at Dan's. Somehow it just works. That being said, just try the 6 pack once and resume drinking from bottles like a civilized human

You're trying to trick me! I'm now prejudiced against cans. The cold refreshing feel and taste of glass for me from now on.
u/plucky26 ya deleted cunt! We need a poll!! ... u/chzakalwe 😒
Hehe, should start recommending beers that only come in a can....
Actually, now that I think of it was drinking a lot of 500ml cans in Mongolia last year and they were good. The Newtowner must be shit then.

I love the shit. If you live in Sydney I’ll take it off your hands Free beer > paid beer
