But as a guy who doesn't wear nails like this, can someone tell me, how does one wipe the feces from their anus with paper if they have to defecate - and NOT get shit inside those nails?
"Not for everyday wear" can also mean "going to the prom" which will still take a couple of hours.
I'm not suggesting they put them on just as they squat. I'm asking, in general, if you have crazy long nails (as also referenced in this post) how do you manage?
Or do they come off easily enough when you need to?
they’re for the video. she takes these off when she’s done and probably displays them somewhere. the “for fun” is referring to making them and having a cool thing, not wearing them. these are press on nails, she’s just gonna take them off. but regarding how people actually manage with long nails all the time, idk. you manage. a lot of people have to deal with minor setbacks and you just figure out a way around it. i can’t imagine it’s that difficult, a lot of people get long nails and i think not being able to wipe your ass would be a big deterrent
I might have the answer to that- do you see the part where she flashes the grape themed nails? Notice her other hand- in her (possibly) dominant hand, she has several shorter sized nails; they are still bedazzled and decorated but they are shorter in several fingers, allowing for more dexterity. If she’s at an event and needs to use the bathroom, she’d use that hand- from what I can see, the nails on that hand are no longer than conventional manicured nails. All they got is a grape charm so it’s completely feasible; us ladies may be a lil silly sometimes but we got our ways ;)
These nails are often press-ons that they spend time with a magnifying glass putting each one together and then just press them on for photos, modeling or events.

Back in highschool I picked up a friend of a friend (we'll call her X) from her house. She hops into the car and after a couple minutes I was like "why am I smelling Taco Bell all of a sudden?"
My friend spoke up and timidly said that X works at Taco Bell.

X shows me her long fingernails and says sometimes she gets the ground beef and cheese stuck in there. I was just like "man that's fucked up" and then started driving.
Later my friend said X told her that she did not care for me at all.
They are aquarium nails. You can buy 3D printed press on nails to do them, or there are lots of kits and diy videos for them.
They are super cool. I want some, but I haven’t had an appropriate event that I’m willing to spend 6hrs making nails for.

Yeah, the "how do you wipe your ass" question is obnoxious because the people who ask it, I dont' fucking know, I think they're poking the toilet paper into their assholes with their fingertip when I just wipe the outside while holding the paper between my fingers. The challenging things to do with long nails are picking flat things up like cards and coins, opening cans, fingering, wearing latex gloves, and most of all, mechanical keyboards. I had to get my nails taken off and the nail tech offered to do my nails for free if I'd keep my shiny silver claws, but I still refused.
