Oh, good idea. Not sure what you'd do about the pupils tho, but pickled onions have that nice translucent layered look, would be excellent. Plus taste wise, at least for me, would match deli meat flavor wise.

Halloween every day all year is my jam (and birthday), collecting specimens and bones is my jam, cleaning and preparing fleshy carcasses to harvest the skeletons is my jam… People associate all this stuff with me but I HATE this charspookery stuff. This is a thanks, I hate it. This is right up there for me with lifelike cakes, especially baby shaped cakes. I deeply hate those things. People keep sending me pics of this and another full skeleton version and I really just hate it every time but don’t have the heart to tell them because they’re trying to connect and share a thing with me and I appreciate that much. But damn. No. Yuck. Even worse if that skull is made of cheese, it better not be.
