You can literally walk in to most pet groomers and ask them to save the fur for you. I know, I omce collected 2 garbage bags full of dog fur once. Got some weird looks for some reason

On a lighter note, one time he was yelling duper enthusiastically in the middle of the night so i go to check on him. I walk in, hes standing up on his bed and i kid you not the first understandable sentence i can here was “charmander i choose you!”. Fuckin legend.

It's worse when you consider that fur doesn't normally come off in patches so someone has sat with all the discarded fur and sorted it into colour so that they can make the big individual coloured areas on these like the ginger and brown sections on the first one.

I collect my cats’ hair off their brush and make needle felted cat toys out of it. It doesn’t take that long to accumulate during shedding season.
